About: I truly treat every dog like my own. I take time to get to know each pupâs personality and routine â whether that means slow strolls for seniors or high-energy walks for younger dogs. I work remotely, so pet care fits naturally into my day. Iâm able to schedule walks and check-ins around my work, ensuring each visit gets my full attention and care. When walking dogs, I make sure each walk matches their energy level and routine â whether thatâs a quick potty break, a long stroll, or some playtime along the way. I always keep dogs safe, leashed, and comfortable, and I send updates so you know how their walk went.
About: Hey Iâm Scout! Iâm the Dog Person version of a Horse Girl, and I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I have never been without a dog since then, having as few as 2 and as many as 6 dogs living with me at a time (along with 1 very dog-friendly cat.) I've worked at doggy daycares and have a unique ability to connect with a wide variety of dogs and am comfortable with all sizes. One of my dogs for many years was a 135 pound English Mastiff! My oldest dog recently turned 15, so I have experience with senior care, such as helping those with limited mobility or giving oral, eye, or ear medicines. My youngest dog just turned 2 and recently earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen title on his way towards becoming a therapy team with me. Our goal is to read books with kids! I am a self-employed illustrator whose job mostly involves - you guessed it - drawing dogs. My silly job allows me to work from home and have a very flexible schedule that can fit in with your needs. Typically I find myself working to the wee hours, and I like using my daylight time to do other things like play with dogs, walk dogs, talk about dogs, talk TO dogs... that sort of thing. I hope that you and your pup join me in my Rover adventures! I'm a self-employed night owl with ADHD. During the day I would love to play with your dog! I get most of my own work done at night, and my schedule is very flexible, with a preference for mid-morning, afternoon, and evening canine activities, making me the perfect fit for your pup's afternoon activities. Maybe you just need someone to run over and give your pup their post-breakfast and pre-second breakfast treat. I can do that! Forgot to throw the ball one last time before you headed out the door? I'll be over in a flash to play fetch with your pal. Need someone to take your pup for a walk or give them dinner because you got stuck in traffic on 24? I'm your person! (Also I'm sorry. 24 is the woooorst.) I'm excited to hang out with your dog whether you need a stand-in companion for a couple hours or a couple days! I provide care and enrichment in your home and take your care instructions and routine to heart. Please let me know if there are dogs, people, cats, or other things outside your home that may be difficult or triggering for your pup to encounter on a walk. Let me know your training practices, command words, and hand signals so we can understand each other quickly and fit reinforcing behaviors into our play times! I currently do not offer care in my own home because of my senior dog and his limited mobility. But I would love to spend time with your dog in your home and neighborhood!
âAlly is fantastic! She walked my dog and my momâs dog while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. She came to meet our dog beforehand and was extremely professional and nice. We had such peace of mind on our vacation knowing Ally was giving Finn, consistent, good walks! We will absolutely be using her again.â

I work from home in East Nashville. It brings me great joy helping and assuring you that your animals in safe and trusted care. I will follow your established routines as closely as possible to help pets feel secure and comfortable. Iâm attentive to feeding instructions, medications, litter or potty schedules, and any behavioral or medical needs. I keep spaces clean, secure, and pet safe, making sure doors, windows, and outdoor areas are properly closed and monitored. I respect each animalâs personality and boundaries, especially with cats and more sensitive pets, allowing them to approach at their own pace. Communication is important to me. I provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while youâre away. Your home and your pets are treated with care and respect. You can count on me to keep them safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
âRoslyn and her daughter did a great job taking care of Teddy! I even got a couple of very cute video updates on my Ring from the daughter. I would definitely book again.â

I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate last minute bookings. I know how much you love your pet and I will take care of them as if they were my own. I have my own business so Iâm able to set my schedule. Iâm have a lot of flexibility to meet any needs last minute. I have some availability each day and most weekends. I have a one bedroom apartment, but my buildings has a dog park out back. I have one cat so your pet would have to be okay with cats.

About: I love dogs and the outdoors! Depending on your dog's level of activity we can go to the park, run through the woods, or just cuddle on the couch. I'm open for house sitting, walks, extended stays at my place, or daily check-ins. My backyard is large and fenced in so your pup will be safe and secure. I'm a full-time pet caregiver with two roommates who work from home, so your pet will always have someone to hang out with! I also drive a mini-van with plenty of room to let your dog ride comfortably. I've had dogs all my life and had experience as a pet sitter since I was a teenager. I've seen all kinds of puppy personalities and I love them all. Can't wait to meet yours! My days start and end with the pets. I walk dogs around East Nashville in addition to caring for the ones I board, so Iâm usually walking dogs from 10am - 2pm. If the dogs Iâm boarding require multiple walks then Iâll walk them in the evenings or at the ownerâs requested time. I have a fenced in yard where I take the dogs out to go to the bathroom, and I never leave the dogs outside unattended.
About: I have been taking care of all types of animals my whole life! Iâve had dogs of my own since I was 10, and I was a pre-veterinary medicine major in college (I only didnât go to vet school because I do music). My education gives me a lot of helpful knowledge to be able to take the best care of your fur babies! I currently have two dogs of my own, so I am great at managing my routine around their needs and will do so for yours as well. I also have help with mine whenever I am booked to help someone else, so everyone gets full attention. I will gladly follow any and all rules and special requests you have for your babies! Each animal is different and deserves special attention, and I will always make sure they are well taken care of as well as your home and your space.
âCarolyn did such a wonderful job watching after our pets! She has great communication and attention to detail, and you can tell she really cares for the animals. Carolyn is friendly and kind and the animals had a wonderful time. Thank you so much, Carolyn!â

âI wouldn't trust anyone else with Einter the way I do with this team. Winter loves them and the personksidd genuine care for her is invaluable and RARE.â

About: I am willing to go the extra mile to ensure your dog gets the attention and care they need. This includes extended stays, irregular schedules, and difficult dogs. I think every dog deserves it's day, and with my single-household care your dog family will be in the right hands. I am currently establishing a more regular clientele in addition to Rover clients, and as of now is my sole focus between at-home visits/walks and boarding. My home is small enough to manage 1-2 dogs at any given time, and locked to a single client at a time, so possible conflicts with other dogs is at a minimum. My outdoors features a great neighborhood to walk in and ample space in the backyard for leashed outings.

âKirstie is amazing. She has great energy and is very friendly. Kona took to her immediately and she treated him like he was her own dog. I was very impressed with how fast Kona and Kirstie connected. She was able to quickly pick up the commands and rules Kona follows and we felt comfortable leaving our dog in such good hands.â

About: Iâve taken care of my own pets since I was kid, rescued multiple cats, and have lots of experience working with both playful and shy animals. In my current position I mostly work nights as a bartender, and have availability during the day throughout the week as well as the weekend I have a fenced in yard, two loving cats, and plenty of energy to keep your pets busy and entertained. I currently cat and dog sit regularly for friends.
About: Dog walking: I look at this as your dogâs opportunity to not only go potty, but to take in the outside world. The smells, the sights, the sounds. I lead them but itâs important to be aware of their mood and interests. Maybe a little exploring. Maybe linger a bit on that flower. Perhaps a bit of investigating. But, Iâm mindful also that they can get fixated, and I work to help them to not get too absorbed in one thing. Some dogs are not as adventurous, and being outside can trigger anxiety. For those dogs, I do my best to comfort them and assure them they are safe while Iâm around. Check-in/Play: Itâs important to me that your pets are comforted and energized. We canât always be around our pets when we want and when they need. I love being able to step in to provide that little extra love and attention when life constrains your time. Your pet will get the attention and love from me that they get from you when you canât be there. Weâll play, get them fed, and generally checked on to set your mind and heart at ease. House sitting: Your pets and house are my priority. Their routine is my routine, and I will treat your house better than my own. Different pets require different routines and care, and itâs my job to keep consistency for them as well as provide them with the emotional connection and comfort they require. Dogs in particular are social animals, and I believe bonding with them helps them relax and feel safe. I tend to fall in love with the dogs I look after, and they tend to fall in love with me, because my focus isnât what they can do for me, but rather what I can do for them. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch over your dog throughout the day and provide them with the attention and care they need. Every dog is different, so I adjust based on their personality and needs. My first priority is helping your dog feel safe and comfortable with me. Earning their trust makes it easier for them to settle in while you're away and helps keep their routine intact. I aim to provide more than just careâI want your dog to feel seen, secure, and genuinely cared for.
âAli was absolutely INCREDIBLE. They consistently went above and beyond to help out while we were away. They were very informative about every aspect of their time with Keegan. We will definitely be rebooking!â

About: I am a life long animal lover and pet owner. Ive had cats and dogs my whole life and love the light they bring to our lives. I truly think of pets of family and I promise to treat your baby like my own. I am comfortable with administering meds and light grooming. Iâm currently working from home part time so my daily schedule is actually pretty flexible. I am available in the afternoons, evenings and even overnight. I have a pet safe home and apartment complex. We have plenty of grass and space for your baby to safely roam. Plus I am walking distance from a neighborhood park with plenty of space.
About: I grew up in a house with tons of animals; I canât imagine a house without them! I am so excited to get to meet and love on new animals. I used to own a dog grooming business, have pet sat for many years, and am now looking forward to taking care of your pets via Rover! I love all pets, big or small, with any type of personality, ranging from shy to extremely outgoing. I enjoy getting to know each petâs temperment and learning their cute quirks. As a rescue owner, rescue animals are near and dear to my heart. I look forward to getting to know your pet! I have an extremely flexible schedule these days as I am an entrepreneur and can make my own schedule. Same day requests are very feasible with my schedule! I have worked with dogs that have used crates before. I always walk dogs with a leash and make sure their leash is on and secure before leaving the house.

Scout is awesome! Lives close to me which is helpful, was willing to take their time with me when we had our first meet up. Is great with our boyo and he warmed up to them so fast which is hit or miss for him. Great communication and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend Scout for sitting or walking needs!

Andrea did a fantastic job taking care of my dog Lucy during the Thanksgiving holiday. Sheâs by far the best dog sitter Iâve had. Her communication was great, lots of videos and updates. If you have a dog or cat that has anxiety and doesnât like it when youâre away, Andrea will have that healing touch. I highly recommend!

Keegan is exceptionally gifted with animals. She bonded immediately with our Sheltie Dani, whom she walked all summer. In fact he looked for her first thing when he got out of his crate. Having grown up on a ranch, she has a wealth of information about animals. This proved extremely helpful because at just over a year old, Dani is still a puppy. She conscientiously told us anything unusual that he did, e.g. yesterday he surreptitiously ate a small rock, typical puppy behavior. She came back everyday with stories of Daniâs antics (he loves to chase dragon flies!), showing how she lets animals into her heart. Keegan is extraordinary. We hate to see her go back to college in OK. We and Dani look forward to more walks when she comes home from school at the holidays!
