Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, an energetic walk, or extra companionship while you're away, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I would give my own. I pride myself on communication, punctuality, and creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. I'm currently in school, taking online classes. My days are flexible, except for Saturday mornings. I am a morning person and have no problem stopping early but can also stop by just before bed time. I have a fenced in yard, 2 older dogs. I am able to keep them separate if needed and have plenty of space for kennels. My dogs are on a 2 walk a day schedule and eating once a day.

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was younger. I have had cats, dogs and tarantulas, so I am used to a wide range of animals. I live alone and work a typical 9-5 job as an attorney in town, and I do not have any pets of my own. I always pet-sit for my friends' cats and dogs, so I would love to do it with Rover. I love to play games with the animals to keep them stimulated. I also enjoy walking animals and simply being with them. I am very good with both dogs and cats.

About: I’ve taken care of many different animals but as far as dogs- they have a special place in my life. I grew up with many dogs and cats. I’ve rescued four of my fur babies. I’ve also taken care of a few dogs that have disabilities. I think that a big part of an animal especially taking care of someone else’s fur baby is walking or car rides. I feel that it helps them feel at ease and relaxed and to not feel stressed out or anxious. I’m currently available full availability. Occasionally I do have doctors appointments but I will definitely work around those appointments. I’m up usually pretty early in the mornings. Taking care of pets and keeping them safe especially myself I always follow any rules or advice that fur parents give me. Especially if a dog is showing signs that they are uncomfortable or irritated I will respect their space and will remove myself to give them space and let them come to me if they want to.

I previously offered dog boarding through Rover, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Now, I’m focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits! Whether your pup needs a midday walk, some playtime and attention while you’re away, or a little extra company during the day, I’d love to help. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, give your pup lots of attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone. I currently am looking for full-time work so I have open availability for Rover pups! I am available any day throughout the week and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can play for as long as they want and a small dachshund that loves playing with other dogs. He is older so it takes him a minute to understand what playing is but once he understands a dog wants to play with him he's all in. He also understands when a dog does not want to play and typically just lays in his bed when he wants to relax. I also let dogs on the couch so they can hang with us! (Unless you prefer they stay off the furniture. I want to keep patterns the same whether at my house or yours!)

About: I've been a dog person for as long as I can remember - I owned my own dog for 18 years, from puppyhood all the way through his senior years, so I've been through every stage a dog goes through. For the past several years, I've also been fostering dogs of all ages and breeds, from bouncy young puppies to older dogs who just need a calm, steady place to land. What sets me apart is patience and consistency. Puppies especially need someone who won't give up on training - I'm big on positive reinforcement, sticking to a routine, and staying calm and consistent even when a pup is testing boundaries or having a rough day. That same patience carries over to senior dogs, who often need a gentler pace, extra attention to mobility or health needs, and someone who won't rush them. Because I've fostered such a wide range of dogs - nervous rescues, high-energy young dogs, dogs with no training at all, and dogs adjusting to a new home - I've learned to read individual personalities quickly and adjust my approach to what each dog actually needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all method. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day rather than dropping a dog off and disappearing for hours. That means regular bathroom breaks, playtime, and check-ins built right into my normal day - not squeezed in around a commute or an office schedule. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard, so dogs get plenty of room to run, sniff around, and burn off energy safely without needing to be on a leash the whole time. Between the flexibility of working from home and the space in the yard, dogs in my care get a lot more attention and activity than they would with a typical 9-to-5 sitter. About: I have cared for just about every animal type - dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and a few exotic reptiles and amphibians. In that scope, I’ve managed surprise litters, caring for young and senior pets with all their needs. I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I will have my elementary age kids and our senior dog with me every other week, and we’re unfortunately allergic to cats. I have a large fenced in yard, plus my own dog every other week. She is a bit picky about other dogs depending on their size, age, and personality.

About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice. I live close to East Nashville with my dog, Millie, and cat, Spoon! I live by all the good walking trails. I would love to schedule some dog-walking nearby so that i can take full advantage of all the great weather we are having.
