About: Caring for others has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember—both people and animals. I’ve cared for my own pets, dog-sat for family and friends, rescued lost pets and helped reunite them with their owners, and have always been drawn to animals who need a little extra care and patience. I currently have a nine-year-old Beagle/Toy Poodle mix named Millie and a cat named Josie, who is about six years old. I rescued Josie as a stray when she was sick and in need of care. I took her in, helped her get healthy, patiently earned her trust, and ultimately decided to make her part of my family. Her journey has given me firsthand experience with cats who may be fearful, shy, anxious, temperamental, or slow to trust, and taught me how important patience, understanding, and respecting an animal’s boundaries can be. I’m comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to animal body language and behavior and can recognize the signs that a dog or cat is comfortable, fearful, overstimulated, anxious, playful, or welcoming. I believe understanding those signals is one of the most important parts of caring for an animal because every pet communicates differently. My caregiving experience also extends to people. I’ve cared for infants, toddlers, and children, helped my mother with babysitting while growing up, and have provided care and companionship to elderly individuals. My professional caregiving background also includes working as an obstetric technician, caring for newborns, young children, and mothers following delivery, as well as caring for elderly patients, including those who needed comfort, companionship, and attentive support. These experiences have taught me to be patient, observant, dependable, gentle, and attentive to the needs of those in my care. Whether I’m caring for a person or an animal, I understand that they may not always be able to tell me exactly what they need. I’ve learned to pay attention, recognize changes in behavior, and respond with compassion. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can be difficult. I take that trust seriously. I’m comfortable following your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and giving them the patience and space they need to feel comfortable. I also believe in keeping owners informed and communicating if I notice anything unusual about their pet. Most importantly, I don’t see pet sitting as simply “watching an animal.” I see it as caring for a member of someone’s family. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away—and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. My schedule is flexible because I do contract work, allowing me to focus on pet visits and walks. I’m happy to work with clients’ schedules and do my best to accommodate their routines, work hours, and pets’ individual needs. I prioritize safety, trust, and making every pet feel comfortable in my care. I have experience with dogs and cats of different sizes, personalities, and temperaments, including shy, anxious, fearful, energetic, and more independent animals. I pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can recognize when a pet is comfortable, overwhelmed, nervous, or needs space. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I will respect their routines, boundaries, environment, and individual needs. My goal is to provide calm, attentive, compassionate care while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are safe and well cared for.

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was younger. I have had cats, dogs and tarantulas, so I am used to a wide range of animals. I live alone and work a typical 9-5 job as an attorney in town, and I do not have any pets of my own. I always pet-sit for my friends' cats and dogs, so I would love to do it with Rover. I love to play games with the animals to keep them stimulated. I also enjoy walking animals and simply being with them. I am very good with both dogs and cats.

About: I have cared for just about every animal type - dogs, cats, rodents, fish, and a few exotic reptiles and amphibians. In that scope, I’ve managed surprise litters, caring for young and senior pets with all their needs. I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I will have my elementary age kids and our senior dog with me every other week, and we’re unfortunately allergic to cats. I have a large fenced in yard, plus my own dog every other week. She is a bit picky about other dogs depending on their size, age, and personality.

I had my dog, Sophie, for 9 years, so I have plenty of experience caring for a dog, keeping up with their needs, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. I also cared for my neighbors’ pets when I was younger, which helped me learn how to be responsible and attentive with animals. About: I've been a dog person for as long as I can remember - I owned my own dog for 18 years, from puppyhood all the way through his senior years, so I've been through every stage a dog goes through. For the past several years, I've also been fostering dogs of all ages and breeds, from bouncy young puppies to older dogs who just need a calm, steady place to land. What sets me apart is patience and consistency. Puppies especially need someone who won't give up on training - I'm big on positive reinforcement, sticking to a routine, and staying calm and consistent even when a pup is testing boundaries or having a rough day. That same patience carries over to senior dogs, who often need a gentler pace, extra attention to mobility or health needs, and someone who won't rush them. Because I've fostered such a wide range of dogs - nervous rescues, high-energy young dogs, dogs with no training at all, and dogs adjusting to a new home - I've learned to read individual personalities quickly and adjust my approach to what each dog actually needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all method. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day rather than dropping a dog off and disappearing for hours. That means regular bathroom breaks, playtime, and check-ins built right into my normal day - not squeezed in around a commute or an office schedule. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard, so dogs get plenty of room to run, sniff around, and burn off energy safely without needing to be on a leash the whole time. Between the flexibility of working from home and the space in the yard, dogs in my care get a lot more attention and activity than they would with a typical 9-to-5 sitter. Safety comes first, whether I'm caring for a dog in my home or theirs. In my own home, I have a large, fully fenced backyard, so dogs can play and explore off-leash in a secure space without any risk of getting loose. I keep an eye out for anything that could be a hazard - toxic plants, small objects, unsecured trash - and make sure the environment is calm and comfortable, especially for dogs who might be nervous in a new place. Since I work from home, dogs aren't left alone for long stretches. I'm able to supervise closely, especially during the first few visits with a new dog, so I can get a feel for their personality, energy level, and any quirks before giving them more freedom in the house or yard. For dogs with training needs or those who are still adjusting, I stick to a consistent routine - regular feeding times, scheduled bathroom breaks, and structured playtime - since predictability helps dogs feel safe. I'm also comfortable managing multiple dogs at once, keeping introductions slow and positive so everyone feels comfortable. If I'm caring for a pet in the client's home, I follow the same principles - sticking closely to their normal routine, respecting the house rules the owner has in place, and keeping a close eye on the pet's behavior and comfort level throughout the visit.

About: I've been dog sitting for friends and family since 2022 and for the last year, I worked for a boutique dog hotel in Nashville. I have experience with all types of dog breeds, age ranges, and temperaments. I have always had a huge love for dogs from an early age and am grateful to have found my purpose in the dog care industry. I believe in-home sitting and drop in visits are the better options for keeping your babies' stress levels at a minimum while you're away. My only mission is to help you keep your fur babies happy, safe, loved, and never feeling lonely! About: I have lived/taken care of animals my whole life. Have taken care of dogs,cats,bunnies,lizards. I have two dogs at home that I care for and have trained. I work at a coffee shop in the morning/afternoons during the week but after noon my days are pretty open and am usually available anytime after that. I have a fenced in backyard and take my dogs on a walk 1-2 times a day. I follow whatever instructions are given and make sure the house is clean before leaving. When taking care of dogs will make sure to take them out every couple hrs.

About: I have more dog pictures on my phone than I do selfies. I spend my free time exercising with my own dog, Lylah and hiking in the area. Being the daughter of a veterinarian, I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. I feel I can learn as much from them as they can from me! Working over a year for an official pet sitting/dog walking service has taught me excellent customer service and professionalism. I’m used to dealing with breeds of all kinds and am not intimidated by animals with aggression or anxiety. I am very patient and understanding, especially if the pet is in poor health or was subject to abuse in a previous household. I am quick to fix behavioral problems and may even be able to help you become more comfortable with your pet! I have several routine visits on my calendar for the next 6 months. However, I am usually able to work in new clients if the times of the visit are flexible. I guarantee your pet the attention it deserves when you (the best friend) isn’t available! I am accustomed to feeding, walking, medication times, command practice, bowel and bladder programs or any sort of organized scheduling for your pet's puppy training. I understand different people have different methods and am happy to learn

About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice. I live close to East Nashville with my dog, Millie, and cat, Spoon! I live by all the good walking trails. I would love to schedule some dog-walking nearby so that i can take full advantage of all the great weather we are having.
