About: Caring for others has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember—both people and animals. I’ve cared for my own pets, dog-sat for family and friends, rescued lost pets and helped reunite them with their owners, and have always been drawn to animals who need a little extra care and patience. I currently have a nine-year-old Beagle/Toy Poodle mix named Millie and a cat named Josie, who is about six years old. I rescued Josie as a stray when she was sick and in need of care. I do get help from my boyfriend so we work together to watch your pet☺️ Make your pet feel comfortable by bringing their own food, treats, toys, cage and whatever other supplies they will need for their stay with us please🙂 We take our dog to the dog park every day to get a good exercise in and some energy and normally our pup is alone at our dog park. available whenever at least one of us will be home We go outside everyday to get all of the energy out. We have lot of toys for dogs to play with. Also with my very energized puppy its very necessary.

Puppies especially need someone who won't give up on training - I'm big on positive reinforcement, sticking to a routine, and staying calm and consistent even when a pup is testing boundaries or having a rough day. That same patience carries over to senior dogs, who often need a gentler pace, extra attention to mobility or health needs, and someone who won't rush them. Because I've fostered such a wide range of dogs - nervous rescues, high-energy young dogs, dogs with no training at all, and dogs adjusting to a new home - I've learned to read individual personalities quickly and adjust my approach to what each dog actually needs, rather than a one-size-fits-all method. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day rather than dropping a dog off and disappearing for hours. That means regular bathroom breaks, playtime, and check-ins built right into my normal day - not squeezed in around a commute or an office schedule. I also have a large, fully fenced backyard, so dogs get plenty of room to run, sniff around, and burn off energy safely without needing to be on a leash the whole time. About: I have lived/taken care of animals my whole life. Have taken care of dogs,cats,bunnies,lizards. I have two dogs at home that I care for and have trained. I work at a coffee shop in the morning/afternoons during the week but after noon my days are pretty open and am usually available anytime after that. I have a fenced in backyard and take my dogs on a walk 1-2 times a day. I follow whatever instructions are given and make sure the house is clean before leaving. When taking care of dogs will make sure to take them out every couple hrs.

About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice. I live close to East Nashville with my dog, Millie, and cat, Spoon! I live by all the good walking trails.
