About: I have experience with nearly every pet - from small animals to horses, and everything in between! I have researched for countless hours, bettering my knowledge to care for my furry (or not!) friends in the best way possible. I make my own schedule, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am very flexible and understanding, so I look forward to your pet being a part of my day! We all know what is best for our pets, so I will gladly follow all directions and care plans specific to your pet. I will update you as little or as often as you’d like. About: Hi! I’m Alexa, a lifelong dog lover who genuinely loves spending time with animals. I previously offered dog boarding through Rover, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Now, I’m focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits! Whether your pup needs a midday walk, some playtime and attention while you’re away, or a little extra company during the day, I’d love to help. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, give your pup lots of attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re gone. I currently am looking for full-time work so I have open availability for Rover pups! I am available any day throughout the week and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can play for as long as they want and a small dachshund that loves playing with other dogs. He is older so it takes him a minute to understand what playing is but once he understands a dog wants to play with him he's all in. He also understands when a dog does not want to play and typically just lays in his bed when he wants to relax. I also let dogs on the couch so they can hang with us! (Unless you prefer they stay off the furniture. I want to keep patterns the same whether at my house or yours!)

I originally came from Wag! a different dog walking/sitting app with over 800 completed services with a 5 star rating. I trained puppies, taken care of senior dogs, administered insulin, and love caring for dogs of all sizes. I have done dog walking/ pet sitting full time for a few years and currently looking for new clients as I moved to this area from Nashville TN. I prefer sitting in my clients home, it makes me comfortable knowing the pet is in their space and have their familiar surroundings. And following the routine the owners have given me to ensure their pets are happy, healthy, and safe while they are away!
