About: I have worked with animals for the past 19 years. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in animal science and have worked with many different species from young to old. My work experience ranges from general practice and emergency room veterinarian clinics, an animal shelter to the Knoxville zoo, and 7 years in animal agriculture. My love for all animals runs deep and through my experience I am able to administer medications, perform CPR, and just understand animal behavior all together. I personally have had two dachshunds of my own from young rescues to 17 year old seniors. I currently work remote and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate any needs of an animal in my care. Daily walks are part of my routine regardless of the weather. I live in a home that has been converted into a duplex tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. I have a balcony allowing for outside access for bird watching or just plain old barking. I have a large backyard but not fenced. Dog beds in every room. Every animal in my care is like family meaning no couch or bed is off limits. I often plan my daily outings to allow for my animals to come with me or spend limited time alone.

Having grown up on a ranch, she has a wealth of information about animals. This proved extremely helpful because at just over a year old, Dani is still a puppy. She conscientiously told us anything unusual that he did, e.g. yesterday he surreptitiously ate a small rock, typical puppy behavior. She came back everyday with stories of Dani’s antics (he loves to chase dragon flies!), showing how she lets animals into her heart. Keegan is extraordinary. We hate to see her go back to college in OK. We and Dani look forward to more walks when she comes home from school at the holidays!”
About: My family has had dogs since I was very young, and I have had my own dog for 3 years now. She is a rescue, and I have had her since she was 6 months old. I work full-time in a bakery and am off most days around 1-3pm. I do have some free mornings as well and would be able to drop by with notice. I live close to East Nashville with my dog, Millie, and cat, Spoon! I live by all the good walking trails. About: I've had at least one dog since I was in kindergarten and my dream is to one day live on a farm with several! I currently have two dogs, one is 3.5 years old and the other is 14, so I have experience caring for dogs of all ages. I also care for my friends' dogs (mostly large breeds) when they travel.
