About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, my schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in petsitting, but I can also do daily walks and drop-ins with enough notice! For petsitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! I'll carefully follow instructions given on feeding, walks/exercise, morning and bedtime routines, medications, and just overall entertainment. I'm great with dogs (and cats!) of all kinds of energy, whether they want to be active all day long, or just snuggled up on the couch!

About: I’ve taken care of pets for 35 years. I am able to administer medications including injectable’s if needed. I work with all breeds and temperaments, and do not shy away from pets that have behavioral issues. I’ve worked extensively with large farm animals to include horses, goats, donkeys, and cattle and have cared for the occasional parrot, chinchilla, and snake. Since pet sitting is my only employment, I am able to provide companionship to your fur family 14-18 hours daily including overnight care. I also am able to check mail, grab packages, and water plants at no additional charge. I keep to your pets normal daily routine, to include walks, potty breaks, feeding schedule, and of course nap times. Let’s set up a meet and greet to see if I’m a good fit. Currently I am only doing pet sitting and it’s my primary and only employment. This enables me to spend more time with your fur babies. I care for pets in your home as requested. I stick to their normal daily schedule. I also water plants and grab mail as needed.

About: I love dogs as I’ve had many throughout my childhood and adulthood. My family has always been a big pet family and so I completely understand the love and attention pets need and deserve. After all, they are an important part of our lives! I am currently a senior in college, and while I wished I had a pet, I do not have one yet. Back home I have a dog and caring for her is a daily activity that I love to do. I know pets are caring, sensitive beings and need lots of attention and love! In my house, I help with feeding, walking, playing, and overall petting and loving on our dog. I love to walk my dog at home and play with her using her favorite toys. Sarah did an incredible job taking care of our typically anxious Shih Tzu! We have struggled in the past with boarding because he won’t eat and gets bad anxiety. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
