He even washed and refitted the sheets onto the bed that he stayed in during our time away. It was such a relief to know that our girl was well taken care of, given she requires medication four times a day and can get quite nervous when we first leave. He provided updates and photos at the desired intervals (which he made to sure to ask for our preferences on up front- balancing our need for assurance with also not checking in too often), took out our trash and brought in the mail, fed a newly inherited fish that was not part of the original sitting request, etc. We will definitely be reaching out to him the next time we need a sitter.”

Despite the rainy weather, Nzinga took Stella out regularly for walks and dried her fur each time they braved the downpours. About: I have my own 6 y/o German Shepherd whom I raised since 2 months old which has given me great experience in basic care and training, advanced training (off-leash), and a happy overall happy life for pets. I have been around dogs my entire life and have adored every single one I have met. My passion for dogs and other animals stems from my background in biology and paramedic experience, teaching me compassion and wanting to help/care for others. I currently work in a research lab and am on-site, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, but have flexibility during the day and for the week. I am fully available evenings during the weekdays, and all day on weekends. I strive to create a positive, playful, and passionate environment with your pets. The experience with my own pet has taught me the importance of basic dog care including physical & mental stimulation, respecting dogs' boundaries & space, and even being able to interpret dog body language for different situations. Being an active person, I am all for long walks, jogs and parks with dogs. During care, I can provide as many updates as wanted including photos or video calls. I can be affectionate for those dogs who want pets for hours on, or respectful of dogs who enjoy their space while still being caring and loving to them.
