About: Having grown up on a farm, caring for animals has always been second nature to me—especially dogs. From an early age, I learned the responsibility and joy that comes with tending to animals of all kinds, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well cared for. Many of the pets I have today were either rescues or animals I took in to help owners during times of transition. Currently, our family dog is nearly 15 years old and requires specialized care due to multiple health issues. This has given me extensive experience in administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and providing the patience and attention that senior dogs require. Whether it’s a young, energetic pup or an older dog needing extra care, I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet. Dog sitting isn’t just about supervision—it’s about ensuring each dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. With my background and deep love for animals, I strive to make every dog feel like part of the family. I work from home and run my own business, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and loving care for pets. Being home throughout the day allows me to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times. I provide a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and at ease. About: My home has never NOT been without a pet. My family had many different dogs (from as small as a dachshund to as big as a Great Pyrenees), and we also cared for the rogue barn cats that passed our way. While I cared for our pets at home growing up, my very first job was also working with a variety of animals at a humane society. I spent many hours playing and running around with dogs who needed the extra TLC, and also babytalked and cuddled up with the cats. In my adult life, I have been accompanied by my current cat, Suki, who is my soul mate and beloved bestie. I also care for the street cats in my neighborhood, sharing with them food, treats, and love. I presently have a few regular clients who I have dogsat for since 2022, and will frequently drop in to spend time with their babies. I have no problems working with pets who are special diets, need daily medicine, have a lot of energy, or might just be incredibly hairy and need extra grooming. I am attentive, patient, and relaxed when it comes to working with animals, and will proudly say I've made even the most skeptical and standoffish pets melt around me. I hope I can make yours melt, too! I work full-time Mondays through Fridays from 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in downtown Indianapolis. My after-work routine is adaptable and always changes based on what I'm in the mood to do. This can mean staying at home and playing the Sims or going out to peruse a bookstore. This means I'm also adaptable to the different animals I care for and what the animal both wants and requires. If they want a nice long walk around the neighborhood, I'm here for it. If they want to cuddle on the couch and watch Scooby Doo, I'm also here for it. In my home: Though my house is small, it is very organized and clean. If your pet comes with special toys or food/water bowls, they will have their own space set up away from my cat's area. They are free to roam the house, nap in my bed, soak up the sun in the kitchen, whatever they would like! I do not have a fenced-in backyard, but I live a five minute walk away from Rhodius Park on Indy's west side; and if your dog likes car rides, I will gladly take them on a drive for a pup cup and go for a walk around any of Indy's nature areas. In my client's home: As previously mentioned, I am a very organized and clean person. I make it a point to keep my client's home clean, too. If your pet has a special area in the house, I will make sure it is tidy and free of any accidents. If your dog likes to shred toys, don't worry, it's not a problem to sweep up the remains. I also housesit for multiple clients, so I am mindful of the common areas I use and clean those prior to my departure. This includes any dishes I use, sweeping up any dog hair, picking up stray toys in the backyard, etc.

About: I’m absolutely obsessed with dogs and so excited to shower your dog with love, attention, and tail-wagging fun! 🐾❤️I have 10years of dog experience and I am familiar with administrating medicine, basic obedience and being active with your pup! I work full time with ability to leave during lunch hours to help you out! I am very active and love going for walks. I live in Indy full time and available on weekends. I have a German Shepherd in my home and understand separation anxiety and walking in public. About: There are no worries when your pet is in my care. You can be stress free while I give them the needed time that they deserve and spoil them with love. I have been around pets my entire life and have experience with all types and understand that each one has his/her own individualized needs. About: Whether it is a quick potty break or an adventure through Eagle Creek, I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to spend quality time with your dog!! My dog walking/sitting experience was sparked at age 11 with my first job. Carmel was a sweet older golden retriever who loved taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Now at 41years old I have had the privilege of not only pet sitting many other cats and dogs but also being a dog mom. My sweet boys Marley and Beethoven brought me 16 years of adventures. The loss was devastating however a life without dogs is simply not as good. My two new rescues, Apollo and Bowser have inspired me to take on canine care full time. I quit my desk job to start a new physically active career path involving dogs. My schedule is flexible. Allow me to provide peace of mind while you are away your dog(s) will be well fed, exercised, and loved. All pet care will take place in pet owners home or walks in local parks. My dogs will not be interacting with other pets at this time. My focus will be solely on your pet.

I work remotely and am home every day, including weekends, so your dog will have plenty of company. We live in a very dog-friendly, walkable neighborhood perfect for daily exercise. In the mornings, we go on walks, and around noon we have training sessions. In the evenings, our kids love to join in by helping with training and playing with the dogs. Our family is experienced with pets of all sizes, and your dog will feel right at home with us. In my home, pets get lots of supervised attention and exercise throughout the day. Although I don’t have a fenced yard yet, I use a secure long lead for potty breaks and safe outdoor time. We also take regular walks around my dog-friendly neighborhood for bathroom breaks, exercise, and fresh air. Inside, pets have comfortable spaces to relax, play, and feel at home. I always follow any special instructions you provide to keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free.

About: I’ve grown up around multiple big dogs my whole life and have lots of experience with puppies and some dog training. I am energetic and love to provide loads of attention and snuggles for your pup! I have a lot of availability throughout the day so I am perfect as a daytime sitter. I just finished college and am in the process of getting a travel physical therapy job. This process can be lengthy, and I’m looking for something to make some extra money and keep me busy in the mean time! I want to make sure your pet is as happy as possible while you’re away and will ensure they have the food, water, space, activity time, and love they need!
