“Leah was an absolute lifesaver! After struggling to find a responsive sitter, Leah answered our call immediately. I was a bit nervous because our dog, Ava, can be skittish and barky with new people, but Leah handled the meet-and-greet perfectly and asked great questions. Despite Ava not making the best first impression, Leah wasn't hesitant at all and accepted the booking. Within just three hours of the stay starting, Leah and Ava were already friends! Leah is a great communicator, met all our dogs' needs, and was incredibly respectful of our home. We felt completely at ease during our trip. We’ll definitely be booking her again and highly recommend her!”

“Sam did exactly as I had hoped and was so sweet and made Barb feel comfortable, which is not an easy thing to do! By extension I felt so comfortable with her in Sam's care. We would love to have her back anytime!”

“Stephanie stayed with our dogs for 10 days and took great care of them. She was also more than willing to help with small household things. The dogs seemed super happy and comfortable with her. I have a diabetic chi. and she learned how to give him his shots as well. I would definitely recommend her!”
About: I'm a recent graduate from IU Bloomington with several years of experience caring for animals, especially cats. I spent two years working in an animal shelter, helping with daily care, low-stress interactions, and making pets feel comfortable around new people and routines. I also have clinical experience caring for a high volume of cats, including shy, sensitive, or easily stressed cats who need a calm and patient approach. I’m very comfortable reading cat body language and adjusting my care to what each individual cat needs. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for many families and individual pet owners, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’m the type of sitter who wants your pet to feel comfortable and cared for, and I always send clear updates and photos so you feel completely at ease while you’re gone. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. My current availability is: Monday: fully free Tuesday: fully free Wednesday: fully free Thursday: fully free Friday: fully free Saturday: fully free Sunday: fully free I’m very careful about safety and trust, especially with cats who can be cautious with new people. I follow their routine closely, move at their pace, and never push interaction if they’re not feeling it. I’m careful about doors and any escape risks when entering or leaving. I pay close attention to body language and the small things that can signal stress or discomfort, and I’ll always reach out right away if anything seems unusual. I send clear photo updates each visit so you always know how things are going while you’re away.
“Kristle was amazing!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter to watch our Coco Bella! Kristle was loving and caring! She was so good to Coco! She took her out on walks, played with her, and made sure she was well taken care of. She sent us pictures everyday and was quick to respond! I am so happy we met Kristle and we will be in contact with her for future needs! I highly recommend her services! Thank you Kristle and family! Coco loved you guys!”
“Katie was a hit!!!! With Griffin and with us. Please come back soon!!! Thank you for being an eager player of dog games AND for leaving the house so clean. Five-plus stars for Katie.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was old enough to stay home alone as a young teen! Growing up, we always had two or three dogs in the house, along with the occasional indoor and outdoor cat. I also grew up around horses and have experience caring for a variety of animals, including some other farm animals. Honestly, chickens scare me the most, but I am up for the challenge! If you’re looking for care beyond dogs and cats, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss your needs! I also work from home a few days each week, which allows me to give pets extra attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I currently work full time, but I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which allows me to spend extra time with your pet throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I’m available before and after work, meaning your pet would typically only be alone for about eight hours during the workday. I’m also available most weekends and can provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins throughout the day. At this time, I’m only offering care in clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I do my best to make pets feel safe, cared for, and loved while their owners are away by sticking closely to their normal schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I understand every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I adjust my care based on their needs and energy level. I also make sure owners stay updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind while they’re away.

“Brea was perfect. She was everything we could hope for while leaving our Arlo for the evening. She's excellent with communication and support. We had her come earlier than we needed to leave so she'd have time to get to know our little weirdo. She was kind and patient while we finished getting ready. We arrived home to a happy, relaxed Arlo, and to us that's everything. We absolutely trust Brea and hope she's available for all of our outings! Highly recommended. A+, 5 star experience!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for atleast 10 years if not more. Animals love me and always beyond excited when they see me. I do have 2 dogs of my own and have grown up with dogs and cats. Mostly labs but had a range of mutts as well . I’m comfortable with large and small dogs During the week can get busy during work hours. But I will always to tend to your furry friend. As for the weekends, I am way more available. When working in another persons home I keep to my own things and buy my own groceries if staying for a few days. I am a home body and take full respect at another persons home. At the end of the stay I make sure the house is clean and ready for the owners to come back home.
“Jordan was amazing! She took the best care of our pets that we could have asked for and went above and beyond in making them feel safe and comfortable. She was flexible when our arrival home was delayed overnight. Our pets would love to see her again.”

About: I just finished my sophomore year at Purdue University. I have an animal science background and a lot of experience taking care of dogs and cats. This includes large dogs, small dogs, old dogs, and puppies from a variety of breeds. I also own 2 cats. I am a prior high school wrestler, so I'm confident in my strength to handle and walk large dogs. As my mom says we’re the “designated dog sitters” for our neighborhood. I’ve been watching, walking, feeding and taking care of dogs and cats since I was little I am home from college. I am free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I love seeing lots of pets. Even if I already have multiple visits in a day day, I'll be sure to make time for your pet. I have multiple cats. They are comfortable around other animals as they have been exposed to many different cat and dog breed from my past pet sitting services.
About: I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled! I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals. I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.
“I was super nervous about getting a dog sitter, but Allison was fantastic. She is a great dog-sitter, she really cares for your pet and sends updates pictures/videos often. Planning to book her again next time I’m out of town!”
“I booked Laura for the first time as a drop-in for my 3 dogs. She not only let them out, but she played with them and loved on them. I appreciate the time she spent letting them get to know her. I will be booking her in the future! She was wonderful.”

About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.

This was our first time using Rover.com and we were very impressed with this service. Just great!!! And, the highlight was our sitter, Taylor! We had her come to meet Levi about a week before we left to make sure both her and Levi would be good together. He can sometimes be a grouchy old man! lol After the meeting, we felt we made a great connection with finding a sitter for Levi. Taylor was awesome. She sent us pics showing what he was up to each day. We will definitely be telling our friends about Taylor and Rover.com - this is the way to go rather than stressing your pet out taking them to the kennel. Taylor was GREAT!!!!! Thanks so much!!!
