“Alex is so awesome! My cat is skeptical of most humans and can be quite feisty, but Alex was SO good with her from the first time they met. She was responsive to my cat's needs and didn't make her nervous or overwhelmed. She was great at administering meds and I felt so much more comfortable leaving for a week when I knew Alex was dropping in every day and checking on my cat - and my house! She's a true animal lover and even sent me photo updates of the bird nests on my front and back porches! I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to everyone!”

About: Hello! My name is Cindy. I'm so delighted to start my pet walking business; opening in March (Let's Walk). It's beyond belief that I'm able to finally display my deep love for dogs with helping busy owners, ensuring every furry family member gets adventure and the care they deserve. I learned so much caring for my beloved Winnie, who I sadly had to let go due to unexpected events that took place in my life many years ago. I understand the joy and responsibility of pet ownership firsthand. I am committed to providing exceptional care, safety, and companionship for your pet family member. My goal is to give you peace of mind, a tired dog and RELIABLE service. I offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for your furry family member's. I offer flexible, full time availability and am able to provide constant supervision and care for your pet, ensuring they are happy and comfortable. I'm available seven days a week from 6am to 7pm. I will be adding boarding services April 2026. Your pets safety is of most PRIORITY. About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. It all started at age 5 with Rosie, my sweet Shih Tzu-Poodle mix, and grew when our family adopted Judge, a Husky-Golden Retriever mix, when I was 12. Both dogs were my world, and losing them recently has only deepened my appreciation for the love and joy pets bring to our lives. My experience goes beyond everyday care. For the last two years of Judge’s life, he lived with me full-time. As a large dog, he needed extra support, I lifted him, pushed him in a stroller during his final months, and when he was diagnosed with cancer, I managed his medication and care with dedication and precision to keep him as comfortable as possible. I also regularly care for my aunt’s small dogs, including one with paralyzed front legs, handling their special needs with patience and love. As an active person who walks and runs daily, I’m happy to take dogs out for long, energizing walks or keep things gentle for older or mobility-limited pets. Whether your dog needs a slow stroll or a miles-long adventure, I’ve got them covered. You can count on me to treat your pet with the same love, patience, and attentiveness I gave my own. I have a flexible schedule and no current work commitments, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting on short notice. I’m in a transitional period before starting medical school in the fall, which means pet care is my top priority right now. Your furry family member will always have my full attention and time. My Home: My spacious two-bedroom apartment has plenty of room for your pet to roam and relax. We’re located right next to the West Side Highway and a large outdoor park, making bathroom breaks and long walks incredibly convenient. Your pet will have space, fresh air, and adventure right at their paws. Your Home: I will be respectful, tidy, and attentive at all times. I stick to your pet’s existing routine to keep them calm and comfortable in their own environment, treating your home with the same care I would my own. My goal is that you return to a happy pet and a home exactly as you left it.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Spartanburg
Aly was amazing! She was able to help us out with a last-minute booking and did a great job. She was reliable, accommodating, and made the whole process so easy. I really appreciated her being available on such short notice. I would definitely recommend Aly and would happily book with her again!

Jonathan took my son’s recuse, over 100 pound, untrained, 3 yr old lab (maybe some Pitt bull mix) on walks for us twice a day while we were dog sitting. Our dog pulls so hard most people cannot manage him, but Jonathan did and did it cheerfully and effectively. He said the pulling was no problem, he just took him along on his morning and evening jogs. Biscuit looked so forward to those walks, he would go and sit at the door waiting for Jonathan. He was a godsend! My son went through a number of highly rated Rover individuals where he lived and none of them could handle Biscuit, so I told my son to come home, our special Rover person (Jonathan) will be able to do whatever we need. I talked to Jonathan, he set up the walks (jogs) and it worked out perfectly. Once again you saved the day for us when we had a pet “emergency.” Thank you Jonathan!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
