Hello, my name is MehLayne (pronounced Melanie) and I can not wait to take care of your fur baby! I am also currently taking care of my now senior chihuahua, BB. I have taken care of a variety of pets since I was a young child and loved each and every one of them. The animals have ranged from a caterpillar turned butterfly, fish, a frog, cats, dogs, and even a squirrel. I would like to show that same care to your fur babies as well! This job will be my main focus so I can provide the most efficient and flexible service that I can. I am able to drive so I can get to you as soon as you need me! Looking forward to hearing from you. Mehlayne did a wonderful job of caring for our sweet old Roxy. Our pup is 16 years old, has medical needs such as breathing treatments and medication administration and she even took Roxy to the Vet 4 times for routine fluid administration. While we are away for our 13 day vacation to Alaska, she sent daily pictures of our sweet little girl and messages regarding her day. Considering that Roxy had never been apart from us for more than 3 days, we were very pleased when we returned and she was in excellent health and eating very well, which could be a challenge at times. I could tell from the beginning that they were a good fit, especially since Melanie has a very elderly dog herself. We will be happy to book her again if needed and recommend her to anyone that is looking for someone to care for their pup.
Mehlayne did a great job with my girls. She came for a meet and greet prior to the stay. She was on time, professional and thorough with my instructions. She’s also a great communicator which put me at ease while traveling to know my girls were in good hands.
We used Mehlayne for a second time while we were visiting Greenville and our pup seemed well taken care of. Unfortunately, he was too stressed to eat anything all day, but this is normal for him when he’s out of his routine and home environment. He wasn’t too anxious when we returned, which can be a good sign. We plan to use Mehlayne again during our future travels to Greenville.
Mehlayne is our dog's new best friend! Our dog is in such amazing spirits when we return you can tell she is pampered by Mehlayne!
Mehlayne was incredible! Our pup is older and does not like it when we travel but Mehlayne came in and saved our trip! Ella loved her from the begining and it was obvious when we returned that she had been loved on in return. We will use Mehlayne anytime we have to leave Ella behind!
