“Joy is great! She and her family treated our dog like their own and we’ll definitely be booking her again in the future. Joy was so accommodating when we asked if we could change the pick up time as well. Extremely pleased!”

“This was my first Rover experience. Nervous! We studied all the close options hard and chose D. I am very glad we did. Our 3 dogs were relaxed upon meeting her, and they came home relaxed. Some sitter claim to have a fenced yard, but in pictures it actually looks very flimsy. I was happy to see the solid fence, both front and back. Her house is really cool. We immediately booked for our next trip. ~Blake and Linda”

“Madi and her family were so welcoming and loving to my girls. They provided peace of mind and were accommodating to our extra needs due to being stuck out of town longer than anticipated. She sent multiple daily updates with photos showing me they were in the best of care. My girls experienced so many cuddles, walks, and a lot of playtime…they may have even been reluctant to leave Madi’s home! The communication was beyond excellent and I for sure trust her with my dogs again! 🐾🩷💕”

“Chino was well taken care of while I was away. Chino is shy and when I picked her up she did not seem shy at all with them, especially with Shannon's lovely daughter. I would recommend her and she also has a privacy fence surrounding her backyard, which put me at ease also.I would definitely ask for her services again!”

“Tara clearly loved our cat Haggis and sent pictures every day. We were somewhat nervous leaving him for the first time, but were just delighted at the care and concern. we will definitely use Tara again - in fact, we’ve already booked her for a few days coming up! Our experience with her was better than we even hoped for!”

“Shawna was great with Ollie. He can be a nervous dog when away from his mama, but Shawna reassured me with texts and pics/video that Ollie was doing ok! I really appreciated her willingness to help me out on pretty short notice.”

“Angela is a gem!!!! She took excellent care with our special needs dog! Dax requires a lot of medication and special foods because of his PLE disease. She and her family welcomed Dax, he was treated as one of their own. I would highly recommend Angela to care for your fur baby. We plan to schedule with her again when we travel.”

“Oh my goodness! I am so glad that I started using the Rover app and came across Anne! Anne and her family are so very sweet, loving and compassionate! I was not nervous at all to leave my bella with Anne and her family because I knew that Bella would be taken care of! I am so thankful for Anne! Moving forward if I need to board my Bella whether it’s for a few days or a week, I am placing her with Anne! Your furbabies will be in great and amazing hands with Anne and her family! They will keep you updated with daily pictures and texts and you can always check in if needed! Thank you so much Anne and be on the lookout for future boardings! I am done with pet boarding facilities and will just use Anne and her family! ❤️ You will not be disappointed placing your fur babies with Anne!”

“Jaclyn and her family were great with lulu. Lulu had a great time with them and their pup Tyson. Nice big yard for her to run around in and played great with Tyson. I have never seen my dog snuggle up to our other dog at home, like she did with Tyson! Will defineately book again with them. They were overall amazing!!! Definitely recommend to other rover users.”

“Heather was very communicative about our Nova girl, she took good care of her and made sure she was loved while we were away! We are very happy and will definitely have our Nova be watched by her in the future!”

“Where do I begin? Kashawna was outstanding with my babies. I think she spoiled them even more(if possible)😂 she took them on walks mixed their food kelp them on their feeding schedule and loved on them. I also received plenty pics which made it easy for me to relax and enjoy my vacation. Will definitely use her again!”

“As always, Lauren and Jonathan did an amazing job taking care of our Chuck Norris. He tends to be hesitant with any males and completely loves Jonathan. We know he is in great hands when we leave him with Lauren and Jonathan. They are our go to sitters”

“They are the best ! Our dog Deacon runs to them and gets so excited to stay with them. They are great about keeping in touch and sending photos of Deacon every day they have them. Highly recommend ! We never worry about Deacon when they have them, we know he’s happy and loved there !”
“Jen and her family took fantastic care of our senior dog. Her communication before and during his stay was top notch and greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“I received regular updates from them. Excellent communication when I had questions. We were able to book a daycare visit prior to booking overnight visits to ensure the environment worked for both our doggos and their home. We will absolutely return when we need someone to help with the dogs.”

“Danielle was awesome! She went above and beyond for Zuri. She sent check ins like pictures and videos. I love that she communicated with us each day. Seems like Zuri enjoyed her stay and we're most definitely looking forward to next time!”

“Cristina is the best sitter. She genuinely cares about Bentley as if he was hers. She spoils him and he loves it. I don't have to worry about his wellbeing after I drop him off. Thank you Cristina.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Spartanburg
This was our first time using Rover as well as using someone new to watch our dog. He is an anxious dog and we were a little nervous how he’d do. Max did great with Dee and she must have known how to make him feel at ease bc he even played with the other dogs which he usually shies away from. I can tell she loves these dogs like they are her own. We will definitely use her again!

lauren’s home was just what sydney needed while i was away. sydney was loved on and included in everything. lauren was communicative, and she and her husband treated sydney like they do their own pets. whenever i need to go out of town without sydney, lauren’s home is where i want her to be.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
