I have taken care of dogs and cats since my youth, and have a large affinity towards all animals. Though my heart is definitely consumed by a desire to help strays and rescues. I have even helped rescue a red-shouldered hawk with a broken wing that I discovered while hiking once. My current pup, Amber, is a rat terrier, Italian greyhound, and chihuahua mix with anxiety issues due to an abusive background. So if you have a pet with some special needs due to anxiety I have experience and understanding. I also have experience with senior dogs having said my goodbyes to my 14-year-old border collie and lab mix last year.

I also am more than happy to setup a quick meet and greet prior to the scheduled care in order to properly address any concerns as well as provide reassurance of the care I can provide to your furry family member.

Jonathan took my son’s recuse, over 100 pound, untrained, 3 yr old lab (maybe some Pitt bull mix) on walks for us twice a day while we were dog sitting. Our dog pulls so hard most people cannot manage him, but Jonathan did and did it cheerfully and effectively. He said the pulling was no problem, he just took him along on his morning and evening jogs. Biscuit looked so forward to those walks, he would go and sit at the door waiting for Jonathan. He was a godsend! My son went through a number of highly rated Rover individuals where he lived and none of them could handle Biscuit, so I told my son to come home, our special Rover person (Jonathan) will be able to do whatever we need. I talked to Jonathan, he set up the walks (jogs) and it worked out perfectly. Once again you saved the day for us when we had a pet “emergency.” Thank you Jonathan!
Jonathan was amazing as usual. I called and asked him to do a favor for me and move my cats to my bedroom and he took it in stride, business as usual and was able to do so easily. Most importantly, my cats love him. Hire him, you love him also!
Jonathan is a great sitter, always takes great care of our 2 cats. Highly recommended
As always Jonathon did a phenomenal job caring for our elderly cat ! He kept the cat, all of her things and our home very clean! Went above and beyond to make sure we came home to a spotless house and our cat is very happy !! 3 weeks away is a lot and we are so grateful !
Jonathan is amazing. He adjusts easily to our changing requests often from the road. Our very private cats adore him and he sends photos showing them playing with him, rolling on the floor and playing with toys. The most important thing… he puts our mind at ease about leaving for vacation, something we have been hesitant to do until we found Jonathan to take care of our cats! Thank you again Jonathan!!

Schedule
I am currently in a transitional period in my life having made a career shift from the medical field into one more academic in nature. So while I transition I will be able to work almost anything into my daily and weekly scheduled routine. I have a lot of flexibility and availability for the foreseeable future.
