I currently have flexible availability most days of the week and can often accommodate pet care requests around my existing animal care responsibilities. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, so I understand the importance of consistency, communication, and showing up when expected. Beginning in August, my availability will shift as I start graduate school, and I will primarily be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I believe in being upfront about scheduling and only accepting bookings that I can fully commit to, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication.

Bezpieczeństwo, zaufanie i środowisko

Every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to follow it as closely as possible. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, meals (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, and attention tailored to their personality. Some pets want to play, some want belly rubs, and some prefer a quiet companion who respects their space. For walks, I focus on safety, consistency, and making sure your dog gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I pay attention to weather conditions, energy levels, and each dog's comfort and confidence. I also keep an eye on the little things. As someone who has cared for animals for many years, I know that changes in appetite, energy, mobility, or behavior can be important. If I notice something unusual, I will communicate it promptly. In a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the household itself. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, and for you to come home to a happy pet and a home just as you left it.

Informacje, które Mary L. chce poznać na temat Twojego zwierzaka

Before our first visit, I'd love to know a little about your pet: • What is your pet's normal routine? • Are there any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or mobility concerns I should know about? • How does your pet react to strangers entering the home? • Are there any fears, triggers, or situations that make your pet uncomfortable? • What are your pet's favorite activities, toys, treats, or rewards? • Are there any behaviors you are currently working on or would like me to avoid accidentally reinforcing? • For dogs: How do they behave on leash? Do they react to other dogs, people, bicycles, wildlife, etc.? • For cats: Are there any hiding spots or favorite locations where they like to spend time? • Are there any household rules you would like me to follow with your pet? • What veterinarian should be contacted in case of an emergency? The more I know about your pet, the better I can tailor my visits to help them feel safe, comfortable, and understood.

A typical visit starts with greetings—whether that means enthusiastic zoomies at the door, a polite tail wag, or a cat pretending they absolutely did not miss me while secretly waiting by the window. For dogs, we'll head outside for a potty break and a walk if requested tailored to their age, energy level, and interests. Some dogs want to march through the neighborhood like they are inspecting their kingdom. Others prefer a leisurely sniffari where every blade of grass contains important information. Either way, I'm happy to follow their lead. Back at home, there is time for fresh water, meals if needed, playtime, belly rubs, brushing, training games, or simply hanging out together. My goal is for your dog to be physically exercised, mentally engaged, and happy by the end of our visit. Cats get the same individualized approach. Some want wand toys, laser pointers, and energetic play sessions. Others prefer a gentle brushing, a few treats, and a respectful conversation about their opinions on household management. I am happy to provide whichever level of interaction your cat prefers. Before I leave, I'll make sure your pet is comfortable, settled, and has everything they need. You'll also receive an update with photos, because I firmly believe pet owners deserve to know exactly how much fun their animals had while they were away.

Doświadczenie w opiece nad zwierzętami

My résumé includes dogs, cats, muddy boots, mystery noises in barns, and convincing animals that the thing they absolutely do not want to do is actually a great idea. I've learned that patience, consistency, and a pocket full of treats or a favorite toy solve most problems. Animals have always been a huge part of my world. On any given day, I might be caring for horses, spending time with my dogs and cats, or helping a nervous animal feel comfortable in a new situation. I understand that every pet is different. Some want a long walk and a game of fetch. Some want a quiet companion who respects their space. Some have very strong opinions about breakfast arriving precisely on time. I have experience caring for animals of all ages, from energetic youngsters to seniors who need a slower pace and a little extra patience. I'm comfortable with large dogs, multi-pet households, and pets with established routines that need to be followed carefully. Friends often describe me as observant and dependable. I pay attention to details, communicate clearly, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal's personality. Whether your pet is an adventure buddy, a professional napper, or a lovable troublemaker, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away. As a lifelong animal owner, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I will treat them with the same attention and respect I give my own.

Cat L is fantastic!! I trust my dog with her in any situation. He gets so excited to see her when she is around. Whether it's just a quick potty break walk or multiple days pet sitting while I'm away, I always have peace of mind knowing the love and care my dog is getting. Cat is also extremely reliable and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Cat to anybody that wants their animal treated just like family and full of love while getting the proper care they need!

Mary is fantastic !!!!!! I can't say this enough. Me and her both have self trained service dogs. She helped me with my training. I have a pomski who is 1.5 years old and he loves visiting her. She has watched him multiple times. For long periods of time and each time he comes home he is a new dog. She gets him on a schedule and he just can't get enough of being with her. She is the safest person to trust your fluffy child with.
