As a first time rover user, Laura made the experience seamless. We chose the drop in service for our big pups and we (including our pups) are so happy we chose Laura. She was attentive, reliable and loving to our babies and gave us the peace of mind we needed while on vacation. Tarzan and Hendrix have found a new friend and sitter and we wont hesitate to book her again. Thank you so much!!

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve built a strong track record caring for dogs and cats right here in Pembroke Pines, with a perfect 5-star rating across every service I’ve completed. Leaving your dog with someone new is a big deal, you want to know they’re safe, comfortable, and with someone who genuinely pays attention. That’s exactly what I focus on. Pet care isn’t a side gig for me, it’s something I take seriously and treat with real professionalism. I’m intentional about the time and attention I put into every walk, drop-in, and booking, because your pet deserves consistency and someone who actually shows up. I share my home with 2 cats and a Pomsky, so I understand pets, their personalities, their quirks, and what it means to trust someone else with them. 30-Minute Dog Walks include a full loop around your neighborhood or a nearby trail, giving your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need. 30-Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention while you’re away. Skills & Experience: ✅ Puppies and senior dogs ✅ Administering medication ✅ High-energy dogs ✅ Anxious dogs ✅ Dogs afraid of thunderstorms ✅ Reactive dogs *Let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, or behaviors I should know about ahead of time, I’m happy to accommodate. I prefer to meet all pets and families beforehand with a free meet & greet, so everyone feels comfortable before the first booking. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your dog like their own, I’d love to meet you both! I work from home, which gives me real flexibility during the week, I can typically fit in walks and drop-ins throughout the day, not just early mornings or evenings. Weekends are open too, so I can be consistent and available whenever your pup needs me. Safety is always my top priority, both in my home and in a client’s home. When entering or exiting a door, I make sure to squeeze through carefully so there’s no chance of an escape attempt, and I always double-check that doors are securely locked. On walks, I stay alert and keep my distance from wildlife and other dogs to avoid any unsafe encounters. I don’t bring my own pets along on walks with clients’ dogs, each pet gets my full, undivided attention.

Gabriella was absolutely amazing with Archie! From the very beginning, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. Archie adored her and looked forward to every single drop-in visit. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such loving and capable hands while we were away. Gabriella kept us updated, made sure Archie was happy and comfortable, and treated him like he was her own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Gabriella to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Archie!

About: Hi! We’re Drea & Jason, South Florida natives, family owned and operated, two people fully committed to your dog every single day. We’re retired flight attendants turned full time pet care and dog grooming business owners. This is our everyday life, not a side gig. One of us is always home. Your dog is never passed off, never kenneled, and never left alone. We live at the end of a quiet, private cul de sac with a fully fenced, secure backyard built for safe outdoor playtime. We offer boarding, daycare, walks, drop ins, and pet sitting. We also have an on site grooming studio right here in our home and offer mobile grooming services, so we’re a true one stop shop. No need to book a separate groomer. Your dog’s bath, haircut, and stay can all happen in one place with people they already know. We treat every guest like family. This isn’t a kennel, it’s a loving, fun home. Think furry friend vacation. Jason and I are a true team every decision, every dog, every day is handled by both of us together. Our Advanced Experience & Skills: We’ve spent our entire lives around dogs. That includes volunteering at local rescues, working at a professional grooming salon, and 4+ years of professional grooming experience. We hold certifications in pet first aid & CPR, dog handling, and Fear Free practices. We know behavior, we read body language, and we adjust our approach for what your dog needs: 🥩 Advanced Dietary Management: Whether your pup is on a strict kibble routine, requires allergy management, or eats a specialized raw diet, we handle and prepare complex meal plans with total precision. 🐶 Puppy & Young Pet Structure: We understand the patience and consistency young dogs need. We seamlessly maintain your ongoing potty training schedules, crate routines, and basic manners to keep them perfectly on track. 👑 Senior & Special Needs Care: Older pups require a gentler pace, vigilant comfort monitoring, and absolute precision with medication schedules. We provide a calm, safe environment tailored specifically to their needs. We’re flexible, just ask! Because this is our full time profession, pet care doesn't just fit into our routine, it is our routine. Our entire day revolves around the dogs in our care, not the other way around. Whether it’s an early morning potty run, a midday cuddle session, or structured outdoor playtime, we are always here to provide constant, 24/7 supervision. We keep our roster intentionally small so every guest gets real, dedicated attention, not just a spot in a crowded house. You’ll get daily photo update, and we stay highly communicative from start to finish. We are family owned, operated, and entirely dedicated to creating a safe, stress-free environment. Nestled at the end of a private, quiet cul de sac with absolutely no busy through traffic, our home is a peaceful haven. To protect the well being of everyone in our care, we enforce a strict no aggression policy we only welcome friendly, well socialized pups. Our household includes two sweet, neutered resident dogs and our 8 year old son, who has safely handled and respected animals his entire life. Our outdoor space is a secure paradise: a fully fenced backyard equipped with no dig barriers, a screened and shaded patio to beat the Florida heat, and premium turf currently being installed for top tier cleanliness. Dogs are under 100% constant, active supervision when outside no exceptions. Inside, strategic baby gating throughout the home allows us to customize the layout, giving every guest their own peaceful, dedicated space to relax. All introductions are handled slow and steady; we never rush or force interactions, ensuring every pup feels confident and safe. Because we maintain such strict safety and cleanliness standards, a questionnaire or a 15 minute meet and greet is required prior to booking. Meet and greets are always held outdoors, either at our home or a nearby park, never inside, strictly to protect the peace, comfort, and safety of the current guests enjoying their staycation with us.

About: 🐾 My House-Sitting & Boarding Policies Please read these policies before booking so we can make sure we’re a good fit for you and your pup! 🏡 Home & Meet-and-Greet Policy For my safety, privacy, and comfort, I do not allow dog owners, clients, or other guests inside my home for meet-and-greets, drop-offs, pick-ups, or other visits. All meet-and-greets will take place at a local dog park or another mutually agreed-upon public location before the booking. This gives us a chance to meet, discuss your dog’s routine and needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before the stay. Please respect this policy, as it is important to me that my home remains a private and secure space. 🐶 Potty Training & Accidents Please let me know before booking if your dog is not fully potty trained, is prone to accidents, or has any difficulty holding their bladder. If your dog requires pee pads, diapers, belly bands, or any other supplies to help prevent accidents, the owner is responsible for providing them for the duration of the stay. I completely understand that accidents can happen, especially when dogs are in a new environment. My goal is simply to be prepared and have the appropriate supplies available so we can minimize accidents and keep everyone comfortable. 📋 Communication & Honesty Please be upfront about your dog’s behavior, potty habits, medical needs, anxiety, separation issues, reactivity, and any other important information before booking. This helps me provide the safest and best care possible. Thank you for understanding and respecting these policies! My priority is providing your pup with a safe, comfortable stay while also maintaining a safe and private environment in my home. 🐾❤️ Hi, I’m Dayana! I enjoy providing attentive, compassionate care, whether that’s taking your dog on long, engaging walks or ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable in a home environment. I am currently working part-time while pursuing my esthetician license, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time to each pet in my care. My goal is to make every pet feel at ease, as if they’re in their own second home. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs and routines to ensure their comfort and well-being. I currently live in an apartment community without a yard, but your fur baby will enjoy frequent outdoor potty breaks and regular walks throughout the day. I make sure all pets get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and stimulation to keep them happy and comfortable.

About: Caretaking, senior dogs, I have to be gentle and fragile with for instance, if they fall to gently lift them up. When walking a dog who has hip dysplasia to put a second leash on the backside of the dog to give more support. Any pet deserves affection and exercise. My work schedule is very flexible. I will try my hardest to make time for your pets needs. I can come early in the morning or later in the day. Every time I leave a clients home I will make sure that there is plenty of water. Also the pet is comfortable with toys and a treat perhaps. Making sure the pet does its business right before I leave. To give medication for anxiety if I know a storm will be coming soon.

About: I've helped and trained animals for years for the Humane Society, Broward County Animal Care, and other rescue groups. I live on a farm with a lot space. I have experience working with large breeds like mastiffs, great danes, and rottweilers, and small breeds too. I also administer medical treatment - shots, bandaging, pills, insulin, temperature checks and respond to emergencies like bloat. I work full time at home on my computer and I pay attention and exercise the dogs throughout the day. I will play their favorite games and try to get their energy out. I remain open to communication and pet intakes all day even when working. I can respond to text based communication mostly immediately. I do have occasional meetings and in that case I would respond to a call with a text message or email instead. I live on a farm with lots of fenced in space for dogs to run around and explore. If you look at the first picture, the property extends well past the first fence. There is a long trail back there. Dogs will be walked the number of times you ask for but no less than three times a day, fed twice a day, given continuous water unless they're on a water schedule. For boarding in my home: your dogs will get their own room with their beds, toys, bowls, and everything that makes them comfortable. They will get attention throughout the day and go out to exercise. I watch from one Rover family at a time. I keep your dogs completely separated from my own dogs. The horses stay across the fence and the dogs enjoy meeting them. Keeping your dogs separate is the safest approach to dog boarding and works well for almost every dog. For dogs with severe separation anxiety, please ask about my in-home dog sitting service. If your dog is well socialized you might consider other dog sitters who put unknown dogs together. It's risky but it can help with separation anxiety. For services in your home: I will look after your pets and your home. I can bring in mail, water plants, adjust the thermostat, etc.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Southwest Ranches with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Southwest Ranches. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
