While outside on potty trips or walks I am very aware of my surroundings and will not engage pet with other animals unless otherwise stated. “Sherry and her husband were fantastic. They cared for our puppy Maxwell for a week while we were out of town. They addressed all of his needs including medication and diet modifications. As he was recovering from a recent illness. In addition to carrying for Maxwell, they kept our home tidy and were flexible when our flight was canceled and we returned home a day late. Will definitely consider having them care for Maxwell in the future.”

I love animals, they are the bestest friends you can make! ❤️ I work part time as a CNA taking care rehab and long-term residents in a Nursing home. About: 7 years of loving your pets. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — not just as pets, but as companions, teachers, and joy-bringers. I’ve always felt most at peace when I’m surrounded by animals and nature. Whether I’m hiking a quiet trail with a furry friend by my side, playing fetch in an open field, or simply relaxing on a porch after a long day outdoors, I find happiness in the simple, grounded connection that dogs and the natural world provide. I value patience, kindness, and structure — all qualities that guide the way I care for animals. For me, caring for dogs isn't just a job — it’s who I am at my core. I am a dedicated and compassionate animal care professional with hands-on experience in canine enrichment, behavioral observation, and facility operations. At Woof Pack Pet Services in Boone, NC, I served as an Enrichment Counselor, Kennel Attendant, and New Hire Trainer, where I led tailored group enrichment sessions to promote dogs' mental well-being, trained new staff in safe and effective animal handling protocols, and developed individualized care plans for dogs with medical or behavioral needs. I also administered medications, monitored health changes, and maintained strong communication with both clients and veterinary professionals to ensure timely care. At Mills River Dog Camp in Mills River, NC, I expanded my leadership skills as a Shift Supervisor, managing the daily care of over 50 dogs, supervising staff, and implementing training and de-escalation strategies for anxious or reactive dogs. I’m experienced in maintaining detailed health and behavior records and have consistently prioritized both animal welfare and client satisfaction through attentive care, structured routines, and open communication. When you trust me with your pet, you're not just getting someone who knows how to follow instructions — you're getting someone who genuinely cares. I have extensive hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including those with medical needs, behavioral challenges, or a little extra anxiety. I treat every animal with the same level of attentiveness, patience, and love that I would want for my own. I believe in clear communication, both with animals and their people, and I always aim to provide peace of mind through consistent care, safety, and respect. Whether your pet needs a playful buddy, a calm presence, or a structured routine, I’m here to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is an integral part of my life and a true passion. Daily, I dedicate time to understanding and meeting each animal’s unique needs—whether it’s through enrichment activities, administering medications, or simply providing companionship and comfort. Over the years, I’ve developed routines that prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of pets in my care, balancing structured schedules with flexibility to respond to individual behaviors and health changes. Weekly, I continuously update my knowledge on animal behavior and care techniques to ensure the highest quality of service. I am now seeking to turn this dedication into a full-time career where I can combine my hands-on experience, love for animals, and commitment to their welfare to make a meaningful difference every day. I tailor my pet care approach based on the environment and individual needs of each animal. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and engaging space with plenty of enrichment activities, consistent routines, and close monitoring of health and behavior to ensure pets feel comfortable and loved. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their established routines, preferences, and any specific care instructions. I focus on maintaining consistency to reduce stress, providing companionship, administering medications if needed, and keeping the environment clean and secure. Communication with the pet owner is key to ensuring their pet’s needs are met and any concerns are promptly addressed. My priority is always the well-being and happiness of the pet, adapting my care style to create a positive, trusting experience whether at home or theirs.

“Rebecca was fantastic! She was very attentive to the needs of our boys and provided us with just the right amount of updates throughout our vacation, like daily photos. I felt very comfortable having her stay in our home so our boys had some familiarity while we were gone, and our house was neat and clean when we returned. We highly recommend Rebecca and will seek her out to watch our boys during our next getaway!”

“Shyloh was amazing. We highly recommend her. We have a bit of a chaotic household with three high maintenance fur babies and one human teen. The trip snuck up on me and I ran out of time to prepare the house the way I had planned. Shyloh was incredibly flexible and understanding. When we picked up prescription refills for the dogs just before leaving, one was left behind and she remembered to ask about it. I felt this was incredible attention to detail and showed just how seriously she takes the responsibility of watching someone else’s pets. We tend to worry too, but she provided regular updates and was always one step ahead. Even checking to make sure we were home at the time we told her we would just in case the dogs might need her to check on them again if we had been held up. She washed their bowls, had to clean a soiled rug and absolutely left our home in better shape than we left it. We just hope that Shyloh is willing to watch our kiddos again. She was fabulous.”

About: I grew up with family dogs and cats. You name it, we’ve had the breed. From chihuahuas, to huskies, to dobermans, to great danes. Therefore extremely comfortable with all sized fur babies. I have experience with all ages, from puppies as we have bred our great danes years ago, twice, to elderly dogs who are blind and/or deaf. etc. I actually have my own pup, she is a husky. Her name is cora and she is definitely a handful but i am blessed my hands are full with a smart, funny yet stubborn puppy haha. I also have cats, lazy fat house cats haha. I was looking for job opportunity that will allow me flexibility, work with fur babies (may or may not like them better then humans haha) and to be a mom to my 10 months old daughter as well, that is why i am pursuing Rover in hopes i can do it all at once. Looking forward to meeting your fur babies soon :) My pets daily care is naturally apart of my daily routine, she is family. Not just an animal. Animals cannot fend for themselves, it is important to me that my animals feel important, instead of a burden. My husky, Cora, is walked every two hours and fed two meals a day and has access to water 24/7. I am flexible to learn other animals schedules and eating times, as every animal is different.

About: I would like to meet your beloved furry pets! My pet sitting experience comes from having my own pets and caring for family, friends, and volunteering over the years. I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available 8am to 4pm all week! I would love to meet your beoved pets! Always I care pets in the client's home, althoug I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed…

About: I love all animals, and I really enjoy outdoor activities, so I work well with energetic animals, but I am happy to take care of just about any kind or size of animal. I am off of work from Sunday to Tuesday, so those days typically work best for me to give my full attention to any animals. I am in an apartment, so watching animals at their original home typically works best for me, but I could make watching animals at my apartment work.

“Judith was absolutely WONDERFUL. It was our first time hiring a house/per sitter, but she completely put us at ease from the start. We're so pleased and couldn't recommend her more!”
