About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small rodents. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, whom I cared for through his senior years, and a Miniature Schnauzer/Jack Russell mix, whom I raised from a puppy. I truly appreciate when pet parents leave information about routine, pets personality and preferences and will follow instructions meticulously. I am an empty-nested Mom and Mimi with my kids' families being spread around CO, NC, TN, GA, STX so I travel to see kids/grandkids/family...a lot...and I love it. This gives me the flexibility to do house sitting/pet care around those visits (in some cases, I've done sits near my kids as well and check both boxes, pet care and visits with the fam). I'm looking to pet/house sit almost full-time around family visits. I'm also VERY open to traveling to pet sits outside my home base area, overseas as well. I lost my little Maltese "Smiles" a few years ago and have poured my snuggles into my kid's 6 dogs.
