I suddenly needed to leave town and Sarah came over and spent a generous amount of time meeting me and Charlotte. While we were away, she did everything I requested of her, and some extra that I really appreciate. Charlotte warmed up to her quickly (she's a picky cat with people!) and they became fast friends. It set me at such ease knowing Sarah was going to do all I asked and my sweet kitty was in capable and responsible hands. About: Hello! I have grown up with more pets than people in my household, and that has served me well. I am capable of handling multiple dogs on walks (there’s nothing more comical than juggling multiple leashes) and caring for both cats and dogs. I was an assistant in therapy dog training and puppy training for four years (Teamworks in Raleigh), and this has provided me with cognitive and behavioral insight into dogs. I also have taken care of dogs around my neighborhood growing up. My philosophy with pets is that they make the owner feel better and vice versa. I have a dog and a bearded dragon, so every day I make sure my dog gets fed, let out , she has a electric collar so she knows where not to go , and has some playtime, and I take care of my bearded dragon, feeding and tank setup. On the days I work Friday through Monday, i also take my bearded dragon out on my lunch and feed him, I plan ahead so they’re taken care of before I leave and when I get home. It’s something I stay pretty consistent with. I make sure each pet’s routine stays as normal as possible. In my home, I keep a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning. I have experience caring for my own dog and bearded dragon, so I’m used to different types of pet needs, including exercise, feeding schedules, and habitat care. In a client’s home, I follow the instructions they provide closely,making sure pets are fed on time, walked or exercised, given attention, and that their living space stays clean and safe. I also make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away!
