About: Hello! I have grown up with more pets than people in my household, and that has served me well. I am capable of handling multiple dogs on walks (there’s nothing more comical than juggling multiple leashes) and caring for both cats and dogs. I was an assistant in therapy dog training and puppy training for four years (Teamworks in Raleigh), and this has provided me with cognitive and behavioral insight into dogs. I also have taken care of dogs around my neighborhood growing up. My philosophy with pets is that they make the owner feel better and vice versa. I promise to take care of your pets as I would my own: with love, respect, and as much exercise as they deserve. I look forward to working with you. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was about 5 or 6 ! To neighborhood cats to friend cats . I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is the level of attention and care I give each cat as an individual. I take the time to learn their personality, routines, and what makes them comfortable, since cats can be very particular about their environment and people. I’m patient with shy cats, playful with energetic ones, and always make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. About: I’ve had dogs of my own for 26 years, and I have raised one by myself for the last 6 years. I love fur babies and want them to all feel loved. About: I grew up having cats and reptiles but I've always wanted a dog to have around. I want to experience what it would be like to have a dog so I can finally own one of my own one day. I love animals I wanted to become a vet when I was younger. I have a tortoise right now which is a good pet because they can live very long. About: Hailing from an animal loving family, I've taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a very young child. I've worked with small and large, young and old, male and female, loud ones, quiet ones lol, playful, not so playful haha. About: I have two French Bulldogs and a Weimaraner, so I’m very used to energetic dogs and love helping them get their energy out through walks and play. I’ve also pet-sat many times before for both cats and dogs, and I always enjoy spending time with furry friends! I am married to my beautiful wife, Samantha and we have 4 dogs of our own (a Great Dane and 3 labs) and live with our two youngest children (13 and 17). We have grown up with dogs all of our lives and have the BIGGEST soft spot for animals of any kind. We enjoy being around animals because they make us laugh, smile, and generally just feel good. I have been in professional pet sitting for 20 years, 8 of which have been on Rover/private LLC. While I no longer offer boarding and daycare, I would LOVE to come and spoil your fur babies ant your place. In addition to dog walking as a business, we are involved in real estate and mental health counseling. In our free time we love being on the beach, jeep riding, riding our golf cart around, fishing, out on our boat, kayaking, or just relaxing and taking in the beautiful sunsets. We are highly experienced with over 20 years of caring for pets. I have experience with all kinds of pets from Great Danes and cats, to rabbits, birds, and snakes. I have extensive experience with a wide variety of animals. Pet Care has been my primary source of income for the past 8 years. As of writing this I am currently in Grad School getting my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as building my real estate career. Anyone that knows me will tell you that animals are a huge part of my life. I love spending time with them and being around them. It is very rewarding for me. We currently provide boarding care for this area when we visit the mountain house, a little about our farm - I own a 21 acre farm in Ferguson, NC. Centrally located between Wilkesboro and Boone. We have a huge mountainous terrain fenced with access to the house and a large gated wrap around porch. Currently our full time home is in Carolina Beach and we have the best biggest back fenced in yard, with a pet friendly deck and cozy inside space, if your dog is boarded at our home, you can expect for the dog to have contact with other dogs. I’ve owned many dogs in my life, i.e. Huskies, Newfoundland’s, Labs, Goldens, Havanese, Blue healers, Doberman pinchers, and loving mutts! I’ve sled and biked and hiked with dogs, trained dogs, and I am very comfortable around all animals. I have two daughters, (my oldest is in college) and an animal loving partner, Spencer, who also has a rover site, so if I’m not available he may be, and we are each others emergency contact in case something were ever to happen., They all love to play fetch, frisbee and agility and trick training. We have a lot of fun with our furry friends and can offer an abundant amount of love, care, space and time for your fur babies! We like to call ourselves the WildOnes and we can’t wait to hear from you and hopefully spend special time with your furry family! I’m a full time rover sitter and animal caregiver. I’m available for full time care in your home or mine, with an occasional need for errands or special events. By following your everyday guidelines, and mimicking what your daily routine is, this allows a great amount of security to you and your animal. We always are sure to leash animals when they are not in the fenced area at your home. We want to encourage good behavior by following the training protocols that your animal has had, and also encouraging your pet to learn new things if they desire to.
