They were communicative from the time I booked them to the time they dropped the dogs off at home and also sent photos and videos to assuage any nervousness we had about them being at a new place. About: We are a family of avid animal lovers! Every animal that stays at our home is treated like one of the family and is given the love we give to our own animals. I have had animals my whole life, cats, dogs, horses, and have also fostered and volunteered for many animal organizations. I have lots of animal experience and can administer medications and have dealt with very sick animals, pregnant and newborn cats and dogs, as well as seniors. We work from home and are also very active. Your dog will get plenty of walks and playtime with our dog, and will get lots of human attention. We work from home so have a very flexible schedule. We can accommodate one dog boarding in our home at a time, we also are available for in home visits and stays, and dog walking. In our home we care for your pet as you do at home. I prefer for new clients that we meet beforehand, so you are comfortable with your dog staying with us.

My husband and I work from home. I am an accountant and my husband is in the creative arts. We love having an excuse to step away from our desks, go outside and spend some time with our canine guests. We have a friendly old King Charles Spaniel that Can keep your dog company and we live on a beautiful secluded circle with almost no traffic for long safe walks.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had my current lab mix Dexter for 14 years. I've been house-sitting and boarding dogs at my home for 5+ years. If at my house, I only board one dog at a time to make sure the attention is on our special guest! This has been especially nice for seniors and puppies. My full-time job is 100% remote so I am home all day every day and have a flexible schedule allowing for walks, play time etc. I have a spacious yard with an invisible fence, so I walk visiting dogs on leash. My senior dog is sweet and welcoming to all our furry guests.

About: We have been offline from Rover, taking repeat customers, and personal referrals, which was keeping us very busy! Since dogs bring so much joy to life, I am dedicating more time to open bookings to new pets. I am a dog lover for a lifetime. As a kid, I would care for strays. As an adult, I have had a dog in my life for the past 30 years- I have adopted 3 full grown, mature labs from various shelters and they all had a great, long life! My current Lab Lulu, is our sitting “mascot” and she welcomes all dogs to our homestay center. She was an adoptee from an elderly couple. My young adult son & dog-lover will be a great co-host to care for and play with your pet. Pets are like family here and they will be loved, cared for and respected. We will give play, attention, exercise, love and create a setting where your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. We should do a meet and greet with our dogs prior to first boarding. The yard here is fully fenced, but I only let dogs out in the yard with supervision. I will give walks/hikes, as you like. Your dog can sleep and hang-out in whatever area of the house is comfortable to him or her. If they prefer a crate, we can. If they prefer their own room, they can have my lower level finished room. If they like to mix it up with the family they can. We cater to your dog and help to diminish their stress and let them be themselves. If the pup is stressed and needs extra attention at night, they can sleep in the bedroom, ( sometimes on the bed, only if you allow that) . I have cared for multiple senior and special needs dogs, providing medication, and special care routines. We look forward to getting to know your loving pet and offering them a home away from home! Pet Care is a dominant share of our daily lives. Someone is here most of the day, so lots of interaction and attention is provided. If we run out , here or there ( as you would at home) each dog get’s their own space to hang-out. Dogs visiting from different families are only together, when supervised. My Home-Away-Vacay-Stay has a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys. Run of the house and cuddles with our family make your pup feel at home.

About: My name is Isabelle and I am an artist and photographer. I am also a dog enthusiast, and therefore looking to pick up as much work as possible walking dogs and pet sitting. I have professional experience, having worked at multiple vet clinics, and doggy day care facilities. I'm comfortable with difficult dogs. I also offer dog photography and painting. I've loved and owned dogs (as many as three dogs!) My whole life. I'm also passionate about horses and riding. A few years ago, I adopted a rescue dog and it it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I find that caring for this dog has been inspiring for my work as a painter and photographer. Working with dogs has always been rewarding. I currently work part-time running my own animal care business and my schedule is incredibly flexible. I'm up early in the morning and ready to go by 5:30 a.m. Honestly it varies between every different animal. All of them have different needs, different routines so I try to accommodate them to what they're used to.
