Before booking the stay Mary Jo was great with prompt responses and made us feel like even though we were making last minute plans that our dog Stevie would be thoughtfully cared for. Mary Jo accommodated our schedule well for drop off and pickup, even having Stevie ready for pickup so we could get back on the road quickly. Mary Jo welcomed us into her home and let us see that Stevie was getting settled in well. We could tell right away that her son is a true dog lover and we enjoyed watching him get to know Stevie. When we came to pick Stevie up she was so happy and tired that she could barely keep her eyes open in the car. We could tell she had a great day with Mary Jo and her family!”

About: Dogs are truly my one passion. I'd love to help you and yours however I can! Growing up I've always had a variety of animals, but right now I have two dogs. Jojo (11yrs) and Libby (4yrs). I'm used to off leash group play (15+ dogs at a time), so dog walking and sitting full time is a bit new for me. But I am so excited to explore this new opportunity with you! Full time dog walking/drop ins + "almost" overnight sitting. Making early morning and late night trips to accommodate your pup. My own two dogs just need a regular check in half way through day. “Very happy and relieved! I had to book last-minute for my pup when a neighbor had to cancel, and Adriana & Christopher were able to take Lucy at their house for the day. I worry about her because Lucy is a bit of an anxious mess when somewhere new (especially when I’m not around), and she was shaking like a leaf when I left. I felt terrible! But she was very interactive and played with their dog so much that she passed out and slept for hours when we got home! So, so happy and delighted with this experience for my little Lucy!”

“Lourdes “Luli” was a stellar and responsive caretaker of my 8 mo, high-energy Australian Shepherd puppy. I was a bit nervous to be her first Rover client, but felt immediate comfort on the meet and greet. She and her delightful, well-behaved pup, Tito, were exemplary hosts. She took all my concerns in stride and made sure that my puppy had a safe, enriching and engaging experience. She sent lots of photos documenting his play and nap time with his new buddy. Luli was flexible about the drop off when my schedule unexpectedly changed and was always quick to return texts. My dog came back happy and relaxed and literally pulled me to her doorway each day of our stay. Her home was immaculate and puppy safe, with a small secure, enclosed yard for play. I have nothing but the highest regard for Luli, and her professionalism and warmth towards both me and my dog! She clearly is a dog whisperer and my dog, very attached to us, but eager to be left with Luli, confirms this. I have no reservations about emphatically recommending her!”

About: Having cared for 13 dogs and 4 cats (yes, we keep count), we've seen it all. Daily exercise and even bathing is quite familiar to us. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. We currently have a year-old golden retriever and a tabby! We've dealt with a couple lovable (but difficult) pets and can deal with issues like stubbornness, biting, and basic potty training. Leo works from home, and I'm a commuter-basically, there's always someone home! We are both the "outdoorsy" type and frequent the devil's hop yard, as well as hike through our property. As STEM majors, animals keep us sane! We can also transport your pets (we have the seating and everything). Our property has a spacious (but secure) 100-acre forest, perfect for supervised walks and exploration! At home, our pets—a friendly Golden Retriever and a sweet Tabby—ensure your furry friend will never feel lonely. We can also provide crate time if needed for safety or comfort, and (given our flexibility) tailor care routines to meet each pet’s needs!

About: I grew up around cats and dogs within my own home, other family members houses, & friends. We had a cat of our own until 2022 when we moved out of CT for a short period of time and had to sadly re-home him. He’s missed very much! I do work nights full time so I am home during the day to be able to give your loved ones all of my attention! I care for pets as if they are my own. With all the love and fun that they can take whether they are in my home or I am in theirs!

About: I've taken care if animals since I was very little. Since I lived on a farm I had responsibilities for feeding, walking, and caring for various animals. I am currently a full time online student in college and a stay at home mom, therefore, I am free all day to care for your cats or your dogs! I take my dog for 3 walks a day around my quiet neighborhood! I have a fenced in backyard that is fairly large. My personal dog is 6 years old and LOVES other animals! My dog, Lily, is also trained for anxiety needs.

“Isabelle and Zachary took our dog Shea. I’m very short notice because we had to attend a funeral. She felt very welcome and went on a nice long walk with Isabelle and the other dogs. She seemed to settle in right away with everything and felt very comfortable. I was a bit late in returning from the funeral and the they were very gracious about it. We will be sure to trust Shea here when we return to this area. Awesome experience!”

About: Hi there! My name is Rachael, and I have a dog that is 4 years old and 2 cats. I have dog sat for a handful of my friends pets and im an experienced pet sitter! I can either board the pet at my house, or come by your house to feed the pets. I’m very flexible and would love the opportunity to watch your pets! Please reach out if you would like to know more! I’m a stay at home mom at the moment. I have an infant daughter but her schedule doesn’t really conflict with my daily schedule or even with watching pets. I have a fenced in back backyard, and a pretty spacious downstairs area. So lots of space for running around and playing! We have a 4 year old friendly dog who loves new friends!
