“I've already re-booked! The entire process with Shannon was seamless, from the meet and greet which we did in advance to Spencer's first overnight! HIGHLY recommend. When we did the meet and greet, Shannon spent about and hour with Spencer and I, giving us the opportunity to see how he interacted with her daycare dogs as well as with her personal dogs. She has a huge, fenced in yard, which is very well gated off and contained. She took the time to get him used to her outdoor area, as well as her home. I was very comfortable knowing he would be safe, and well cared for. During his overnight stay, she texted me several times, with photos and let me know he was doing well. Spencer came home from his visit tired from playing with doggie friends, and well cared for. I have already booked future visits and I highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with a dog and cat my entire life. I have experience with training. I grew up walking my neighbors dogs. When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions. I have just started using the rover app and have had wonderful experiences with pets and families. I work some days during the week, but otherwise I am fully flexible. About: Around age 24, I adopted a cat who was extremely shy and nervous. t took me 3 months of work to be able to touch her but it was so worth it! I always made sure she had all of the love and care she needed. She was very particular about having a clean litter box (we agreed there!) and with her food and treats. I bought her a water fountain when I noticed she was making more of a mess with her water bowl than she seemed to be drinking. I still miss her, but memories of her and her memorial tattoo on my inner wrist help me through each day.

Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. We currently have a year-old golden retriever and a tabby! We've dealt with a couple lovable (but difficult) pets and can deal with issues like stubbornness, biting, and basic potty training. About: Hi! I’m Dina, a lifelong animal lover based in Niantic, CT. I recently moved to the area with my husband, Collin, who works at Millstone, and our very spoiled fur baby, Leo the cat. Although I’m new to Rover and still fairly new to the area, I’m definitely not new to pet care. I’m 33 years old and have been pet sitting since middle school, caring for both dogs and cats through long-term stays, drop-in visits, walks, feeding routines, litter changes, and playtime. I’m patient with shy or nervous pets and always let them warm up at their own pace. One of my favorite moments was when I got a skittish dog to come over and say hi, and my niece asked if I could “speak Dog.” I can’t officially confirm, but I do have a pretty good track record with tail wags. 🐕 My background is in photography and marketing, but I recently stepped back from that field to chase my dream of becoming an author. About: I’ve had multiple dogs my whole life ranging from chihuahuas, to Alaskan malamutes, pitmix, to dogs you just aren’t sure what they are but that just makes them all the more lovable. I love being active so taking dogs for a walk gives me even more of an excuse to be outside to run around. I also love meeting new dogs and ensuring they get the enrichment they need throughout the day while their human is out doing what they need to do. “I've already re-booked! The entire process with Shannon was seamless, from the meet and greet which we did in advance to Spencer's first overnight! HIGHLY recommend. When we did the meet and greet, Shannon spent about and hour with Spencer and I, giving us the opportunity to see how he interacted with her daycare dogs as well as with her personal dogs. She has a huge, fenced in yard, which is very well gated off and contained. She took the time to get him used to her outdoor area, as well as her home. I was very comfortable knowing he would be safe, and well cared for. During his overnight stay, she texted me several times, with photos and let me know he was doing well. Spencer came home from his visit tired from playing with doggie friends, and well cared for. I have already booked future visits and I highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with a dog and cat my entire life. I have experience with training. I grew up walking my neighbors dogs. When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions. I have just started using the rover app and have had wonderful experiences with pets and families. I work some days during the week, but otherwise I am fully flexible. I’m open to discussing any needs and finding the best schedule for the pets! If there is anything I can do to ensure you feel comfortable, I am more than happy to work it out. “I was vacationing in the Hamptons when I had an emergency medical situation u needed to attend to. It was spur of the moment and I had to fly to NEW Orleans. Jared responded to my request immediately. Heet me bring my dog to him at 2am in the morning so I could get a red eye flight. He immediately set me at ease and took Redford to okay with the other dogs. He sent me photos and videos if my pet while u was gone and my dog was having a blast! I really don't think he missed me at all! I am so grateful to Jared. He is a nice person.
