“This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. About: Hi, My name is Brooke I go by Seven and my entire life has been surrounded by animals, from catching frogs, lizards, feeding the squirrels and always just having that touch even with the animals that don't trust or care for most humans. I have that special something. I started walking the whole neighborhoods dogs when i was 9 years old, i would walk up to 5 at a time. At the age of 13 i started volunteering for an animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. I was the girl growing up all my friends would bring stray or lost animals too. 16 i started working as a vet assistant, at 18 working a 150 dog ranch/doggie daycare and boarding facility to then move on into my early twenties working a place in Seattle called Dogwood Play Park, the first of its kind. It was an indoor outdoor 21 plus play park and daycare. Owners could bring their dogs to play while they had a beer and got to know other dog lovers, I built many beautiful dog... and people friendships there. I have always been told by the owners they that their dogs listens to me better..I say its just cause i am alpha pack leader!! I have massive respect and love for all animals. I worked in Portland Oregon on a farm in 2022 called Trisklee farm where i cared for all the animals on the property as farmer seven, i did weekend tours of the farm and helped run kids summer camp.I am very good with all ages and types of animals. My biggest strength is animal body language, i can read an animals move before they do it. Something i have picked up over my life span over working with animals everyday. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.
About: I have grown up with both small and large dogs in my life, from puppies to older dogs with medical needs. I am very careful and alert with my dogs to make sure they don’t get hurt or eat anything they shouldn’t. I love to be active and have experience with training, including leash walking. I have a soft spot for dachshunds, but I truly love all dogs. I am a teacher, so I have a flexible schedule during the summer. I have a lot of availability at night since I work part time during summer days and make my own schedule. I have a very clean home that is very pet friendly, since I have three dogs of my own - a dachshund, a black lab mix, and a cattle dog corgi mix. I can easily crate your dog or contain them in a room (included a gated kitchen) if requested. I also have two gated decks that my dogs love to sunbath on, a nice backyard, and sidewalks around my house for walks.

About: Hi! I’m very experienced with dogs as well as cats. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life. I have a lot of experience watching pets while there owners were away for a long period of time as well as stopping to let their dog out. Including puppy’s, dogs and cats. I would love to meet your pet and take care of them as my own! I’m currently a part time waitress and have a very flexible schedule. I’m very happy to help especially with any last minute bookings! I’ve had both dogs and cats my whole life of all different breeds. Ive grown up with dogs my whole life so Im very comfortable in most situations. I care for your animals as if they were my own. I know how worry some it is to leave them but I promise they are in good paws ;) with me! I make sure to take them on proper walks, pick up after them, give any medicine if necessary, and love them as if they were my own!
