I’ve had animals in my life since I was five years old and have cared for a wide variety of pets over the years. I’ve always had my own dogs and cats. I’m very comfortable with different personalities and care routines. In my thirties I also worked with dog rescues, helping care for and support dogs in transition. While I stepped back from rescue work when my daughter was young, my love of animals has always remained a big part of my life. Neighbors, family, and friends have asked me to walk, feed, and house sit for them for decades! I work at a restaurant 3-4 nights a week, therefore am available all day every day to care for your pets. I am also available on certain evenings as well, if needed. About: I have always had animals since I was a young girl, both cats and dogs. I showed a special interest in them, leading to me attending multiple summer camps for FIDELCO seeing eye dogs. As I got older I began attending conservation summer programs. I have worked on sea turtle conservation efforts in North Carolina. I have also spent a month in Sumatra and Bali, Indonesia contributing to coral reef restoration as well as preserving the local orangutan population. I have watched numerous pets of family friends as well as my own family during vacations. I attended University on the island of Oahu. There I began working at a feline-specialty veterinary office as a vet assistant for a year and a half. Upon moving back to Connecticut in June of 2026 I have begun working at an Urgent Care for pets. I also have two cats, who I consider my children! I have relatively open availability! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old. I have walked, taken pups outside, fed them meals, kept them company and I’m able to do all of that for you and your puppies too! I currently work full time however my schedule allows me to still care for your puppies! The most amount of time I’ll be away at a time is 5-6 hours. I have 3 dogs who need much attention, I make sure by the end of the night they are out of energy by playing with them and running around outside. About: Hi, My name is Brooke I go by Seven and my entire life has been surrounded by animals, from catching frogs, lizards, feeding the squirrels and always just having that touch even with the animals that don't trust or care for most humans. I have that special something. I started walking the whole neighborhoods dogs when i was 9 years old, i would walk up to 5 at a time. At the age of 13 i started volunteering for an animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. I was the girl growing up all my friends would bring stray or lost animals too. 16 i started working as a vet assistant, at 18 working a 150 dog ranch/doggie daycare and boarding facility to then move on into my early twenties working a place in Seattle called Dogwood Play Park, the first of its kind. It was an indoor outdoor 21 plus play park and daycare. Owners could bring their dogs to play while they had a beer and got to know other dog lovers, I built many beautiful dog... and people friendships there. I have always been told by the owners they that their dogs listens to me better..I say its just cause i am alpha pack leader!! I have massive respect and love for all animals. I worked in Portland Oregon on a farm in 2022 called Trisklee farm where i cared for all the animals on the property as farmer seven, i did weekend tours of the farm and helped run kids summer camp.I am very good with all ages and types of animals. My biggest strength is animal body language, i can read an animals move before they do it. Something i have picked up over my life span over working with animals everyday. I can administer medications and very aware of your pets behaviors to make sure they feel the most comfortable at all times. I owned guinea pigs, giant Flemish Rex rabbit, cats, and just recently lost my best friends Clyde who was a mastiff Doberman this June , he was almost 12. And Alice my English mastiff who was almost 11 back in 2023 . large breeds are my specialty. I just had a new born on July 29th 2026 and have a year and a half year old as well. I am a stay at home mom who misses her pets and want my children to grow up around animals without making the commitment right now to add to the family. So being good around children who are young and learning boundaries is a must so we don’t put your pet or my children in an uncomfortable or dangerous situation.
