I’m very dependable and I know how important communication is, I’m happy to send photo updates during visits so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’ve had animals in my life since I was five years old and have cared for a wide variety of pets over the years. I’ve always had my own dogs and cats. I’m very comfortable with different personalities and care routines. In my thirties I also worked with dog rescues, helping care for and support dogs in transition. While I stepped back from rescue work when my daughter was young, my love of animals has always remained a big part of my life. Because of this background, I’m very patient and attentive and understand that every pet has their own temperament and needs. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Because I keep my schedule manageable, I’m able to be reliable and consistent with visits, walks, feeding times, and playtime. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure each pet gets individual attention and care. I’m happy to work with owners to accommodate their pet’s normal routine and can often be flexible with scheduling when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel secure and cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both your pet’s routine and your home. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I closely supervise pets to keep them safe. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and energy levels and will contact you right away if anything seems unusual. I’m happy to follow any detailed instructions you provide—feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, or special care. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. Having had animals my entire life and experience working with rescues, I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for a beloved pet.

About: I have always had animals since I was a young girl, both cats and dogs. I showed a special interest in them, leading to me attending multiple summer camps for FIDELCO seeing eye dogs. As I got older I began attending conservation summer programs. I have worked on sea turtle conservation efforts in North Carolina. I have also spent a month in Sumatra and Bali, Indonesia contributing to coral reef restoration as well as preserving the local orangutan population. I have watched numerous pets of family friends as well as my own family during vacations. I attended University on the island of Oahu. There I began working at a feline-specialty veterinary office as a vet assistant for a year and a half. Upon moving back to Connecticut in June of 2026 I have begun working at an Urgent Care for pets. I also have two cats, who I consider my children! I work M-F 9am-6pm. I do my absolute best to ensure my calendar availability is up to date and accurate. My calendar is typically updated a month out. While I do not offer in-home pet sitting at my residence, I ensure your pet will be taken care of just as well I would mine in my own home.

When your dog is staying with me, I want them to feel like they’re at home, not at a kennel. I also know how reassuring it is to see that your dog is happy while you’re away. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old. I have walked, taken pups outside, fed them meals, kept them company and I’m able to do all of that for you and your puppies too! I currently work full time however my schedule allows me to still care for your puppies! The most amount of time I’ll be away at a time is 5-6 hours. I’m happy to chat about my schedule for the week you need me. I have 3 dogs who need much attention, I make sure by the end of the night they are out of energy by playing with them and running around outside. They love getting treats after dinner too and I’m sure your puppies will be just like mine, out of energy and happy!
