“Ixia was absolutely wonderful with our Pointer/Pit mix, Crimson. This was our first time using Rover, and our first time leaving our dog for an extended period of time. (We had to take a trip out of state on short notice.) From the get-go, Ixia was very professional and attentive during our phone consultation - taking notes, checking details, learning the little intricacies of Crimson's routines. Crimson also has a torn ACL, so special care has to be taken during daily activities to ensure the injury doesn't worsen. Ixia was very reliable, responsive, and communicative with us the entire time. She was on time for every visit, sent us pictures of our pup, played with her, spent lots of time in the yard, and even went above and beyond to accommodate some extra drop-ins we hadn't originally planned. We were very impressed and thankful for the loving care that she provided our animals and by her professionalism and communication. 11/10 recommend, and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future. About: Hi, im Soléna and I’m a big animal lover! I work in the service industry and I have a pretty flexible schedule to help walk your pups. I have experience with puppies, small, and large breed dogs. My 90lb Anatolian shepherd, Violet, is an 11yo that I have had since she was 9 weeks from the rescue. I'm currently working part-time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to come by 3x a day on work days, and 4x a day on days off. I do not offer a boarding option for my home. My dog as she's gotten elderly can be reactive to other dogs in her space. For walks, depending on behavioral notes, we would avoid other animals on the street, i.e. crossover, and avoid areas largely populated with dogs.
About: I've been looking after dogs and cats since I was 12! They've ranged from my grandma's shitzu to dog sitting mastiffs! I've even watched reptiles like ball pythons and geckos. I've walked, bathed, fed, watered, and loved them the whole time. I, myself, have 2 bunnies, fish, and a ball python. All together the most dogs I've ever watched at the same time was 28! It was 5 adults dogs, one puppy the equivalent to a toddler, and 22 puppies! I am willing to go to the cape and islands for house sitting! I, sadly, do not have a cute puppy or kitty to play with your fur baby, however it just means they get more love from me! I can lift a 75 pound dog if needed and have the resources to contain one if necessary.

Colleen continues to be a lifesaver for our family! She is dependable, kind, and gentle with our kitties! She takes my cat's blood sugar, feeds him, gives him insulin and brushes and loves him! And even though my other cat is super anxious and runs, Colleen always makes sure she is safe and fed! Colleen is a rockstar!

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
