My house is across the street from the beach so it’s easy to take your pup out for a romp! Disclaimer: I have a 10 lb chihuahua-mix, Tomás, who can be a little territorial. I would love to use this opportunity to help socialize him a bit more but taking care of your pup is my priority. Should they not get along, I can keep them separated by keeping Tomás in my room and allowing your pup free range in the rest of the house. I have watched dogs of all sizes with Tomás and have not had any problems, but I want to be transparent! I work from home and travel, so I can usually take walking breaks as often as needed. Whatever schedule your pup is on, it works for me. I follow instructions strictly from the owner, including crate rules, sleeping rules, exercise, interactions with other dogs and humans, food, treats, and even working on training!
