About: I have grown up surrounded by animals and have experience caring for dogs and cats for neighbors and friends. I have a calm demeanor and want to make sure your furry family member is well taken care of, whether they are active and need lots of walks and playtime or are lazy and need some peace and quiet. Whatever your fur baby needs I am ready to care for them! I have an open schedule this summer and can care for animals any time of day. I am located in hampstead/surf city and can visit your pet multiple times a day as long as the commute isn’t too long. I have one dog in my home who is gentle and a bit shy but will be ready to play with your pet if they are wanting to interact but she is not one to hound other animals. I have an unfenced yard and live in a nice neighborhood that’s perfect for long walks if your pet stays at my home. If I come to your home I will let your pet slowly warm up to me and then provide them with walks/playtime/ whatever you recommend to make sure they are happy!

Since my kids are pretty grown now, it seems my life revolves around my animals. I am active, so I love to take the pups for walks or hikes (depending on weather). The cats sort of do their own thing, but I’m always down for cat snugs. Our home does allow animals to have free roam. They are allowed in all rooms and on furniture. If your babies are not good with cats, we will not be able to take them. We will give them all the love while you are away and send your photos as much (or as little) as you would like. In your home I will respect all your rules. If you don’t want them on furniture or particular rooms, just let me know and we will follow those guidelines. About: I've taken care of dogs for the past 7 plus years. I have two dogs of my own and do have neighbors who have had pets. I have experience walking them, feeding them playing with them and keeping them safe. I take my time with dogs and understand if they are scared. I do have a rescue myself and I understand what it takes to gain their trust and train them. I'm a recent UNC graduate and am now attending OTA school at CFCC. I have classes Monday 8-9:45, Tuesday 12-1:50, Wednesday 11-1:50, Thursday 10-11:50 and Friday 10-12:50! I also work 3 days out of the week but it varies! I have two cute dogs at home, Ginger and Teddy and I tend to them when at home. We have a fenced in yard and they enjoy their 2-3 walks a day. I typically feed my dogs twice a day, in the morning and then during dinner time, they graze throughout the day. I love spending quality time with them, especially playing with them! Both my dogs have gone through training so I completely understand the training process as well.

About: I grew up around animals of all kinds, but find myself most comfortable with dogs and cats. I have two dogs and three cats currently, two of the five being seniors. I enjoy catering to my furry friends and would love to help yours! I’m a stay at home pet mom after sustaining a leg injury in March so I have a very flexible schedule and am looking to fill my free time helping people by assisting them in caring for their pets. My yard is fenced in for my senior husky and senior Yorkshire Terrier. My dogs are also crate trained so I am familiar with crating animals and following schedules. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
