I’ve worked with dog rescues for over ten years and have fostered hundreds of dogs, many with special medical needs. I’m comfortable adjusting care to different personalities, routines, and health requirements. I currently have one small dog after recently losing her senior big sister. I am retired with plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care. I love walking and offer additional special services such as extra long walks or special beach walks.

My home is very pet-friendly, with a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I share my home with one small, friendly dog who enjoys playing with other dogs and helps create a relaxed, social environment for visiting pets.

Again, Suzanne was wonderful with our Joy girl! Joy has severe anxiety issues, especially with storms and fireworks. Suzanne comforted sweet Joy through several hours of horrible storms. As always, it was a comfort to us to know that Joy was in good, loving hands. Thank you, Suzanne!!!

Our dog loves to stay with Rick and Suzanne! They live right next to the dog park and take her multiple times a day to play. I feel good knowing she is loved in their house and having a good time while we are away.
Suzanne is such a blessing for us and our fur baby, Joy! We really needed a day away with our out-of -town grandkids. And we were so thankful not to have to worry about our little Joy while we were away. Joy is in very capable and loving hands when Suzanne is caring for her. Suzanne is a Godsend! Suzanne did such a great job with visiting my dog Jasper. She was thorough and responsive, and sent pictures each visit. She even gave him a new toy which he loves and brought to me as soon as I got home. Would highly recommend Suzanne to care for your dog!

Schedule
I’m recently retired, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. When pet sitting in your home, I can structure my day around your pet’s needs—feeding schedules, walks, medication, and plenty of companionship. My goal is to help pet parents feel completely confident that their pets are well cared for while they’re away. With an owner’s permission, I’m happy to include enriching outings such as beach walks, play dates, or visits to pet-friendly establishments. For walking clients, I also offer customized options like extra-long walks or special beach walks, tailored to your dog’s comfort and energy level.

- I like to know about any special needs ahead of time, including feeding routines, medications, quirks, or comfort items. I understand that some dogs have very specific rituals—my own dog insists her food be warmed in the microwave like a five-star meal—so I’m happy to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel at home.
