About: I started working with animals 8 years ago as a volunteer at a rescue barn. I've volunteered with about 3 other rescues and shelters, from walking dogs to monitoring health conditions. I just want to show all those little furry family members the love they deserve, and make sure they can be well taken care of if you are unable or temporarily absent. I currently only work 7-2 on weekends. Otherwise, I'm wide open and would love to run and play with your pets! We love treats and I'm a quick learner. Your routine, becomes my routine. I prefer to get a play by play of each animal's daily life at home so I can most relate their stay with me in my home to it. From feeding times to walking times and even play times, I love to have a set schedule to make all our lives easier. Of course flexibility is a must, and I'm happy to follow any needs that are seen fit because the animal's well being is top priority.

About: I have had a dog as long as I can remember. I have had many dogs and a few cats over the years and spent 7 years fostering dogs while living in DC. During my fostering, I had the opportunity to train puppies, learn how to introduce dogs into homes with other dogs, and care for senior pups, keeping one of my fosters until she passed. I love all kinds of animals and will take care of your pets like I do my own - with lots of love, a few treats, and tons of attention! I work part-time and am available mornings and evenings with possible option for mid-day visits. I am available for dog walking, spending time playing with your fur baby and for pet sitting overnight in your home. My ultimate goal is to ensure your pet receives proper care and attention, the same as I would my own pets. In my past experience as a working professional, I understand the difficutly of going away and worrying about your pets while you are gone, which is why I offer overnight pet sitting in your home so you can enjoy vacations and know your pets are comfortable in their home environment. I can also assist with plant watering and keeping an eye on your home as well while you are away.

About: This is my first time that I will be doing this for people other than family. My previous experience has been caring for friends & my mom‘s dog over the years or so as she travels a lot. I have even had to care for special needs dogs that require a shot or medicine. I love animals all animals. I will never yell at or scold an animal when I catch bugs in my house I catch and release. When I see stray dogs I try to catch them before they get hit. I am a big animal lover. to get my feet wet to this kind of work, I think I’d rather take on Pop in’s for now rather than overnights. I do currently work full-time so I’m available evenings and weekends. I have a fenced yard. I have an 8 pound silky tease and an 8 pound cat. Both are extremely friendly to other animals. I feed my pets twice a day. I don’t do much else I’m always home with my pets.

She took care of our two Australian Shepherds while we were out of the country for 10 days; we received well-timed informative updates and in pictures she sent we could tell our dogs were content. Upon arrival home, our dogs were clearly well cared for and loved in our absence. Samantha was willing to be flexible with drop off and pick up, was mindful of specific instructions we gave, and able to make appropriate decisions regarding our pets' care/best interests daily. They enjoyed plenty of outside time, exercise, and human interaction. We will absolutely be asking Samantha for help for any future needs and will recommend her to anyone seeking pet care services.”

I will be taking my three babies back to them anytime they are willing to have them! They have a great set up there! My Saint Bernards thoroughly enjoyed themselves! This was a very hard weekend for me as I have never left my dogs alone by themselves longer than a few hours so leaving them there for 4 days was really difficult for me to do and they made it easy for me!”
