About: We recently lost our best friend & truly the best little angel, Slinky. He was an 11 year old Dachshund, that we rescued from really bad conditions, when he was 5 years old. This pretty much lead to us caring for a special needs dog for the remainder of his life. During our years together, we gave him the best life possible, and even moved into a more pet friendly home where he could have his own private yard. We are nowhere near being ready to rescue a new baby to call our own, we understand our house needs a pup running around to make use of all of Slinky’s toys, beds, blankets, but also to have a pup to give our love to, take out for walks, and cuddle with on the couch! Ideally we would only like to house 1 dog at a time, or 2 if they come from the same household. We have lots of love to give, lots of cuddles, and a safe space for your furry kids while you’re out of town. We would love to care for your little angel just as well as we did for ours. We adjust our schedules according to when we have visitors. They will have a big space with lots of beds, toys & cartoons to enjoy! We have a fenced in small private yard. Big indoor space with plenty of room to run around in & lots of toys to pick from.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was young. I have been watching and dog sitting for years now. I have a four year-old- jack russell myself! I am accustomed to all different dogs and different needs, like anxiety, administering medicine, etc. I’m currently freelancing and work from home. I live in a pet friend apartment with a four-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. My home is calm and loving. My dog loves other dogs and is very friendly. I have a super walkable neighborhood for long walks and I’m close to hiking locations. I also have a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks.

About: I work from home, and am looking for a furry buddy to come along on my daily walks to the around the neighborhood, to the parks, and on the local trails! I grew up with a labradoodle (17 years!) and two tabby cats (15 and 18 years!), and often care for my sisters dogs (a large bernadoodle, 4 years, and a 1 year old doberman). I live with my partner, Cam, and our hobbies include running, surfing, playing guitar, biking and writing. I always say my dream in life is to be as happy as a dog is on the beach. Anastasiia was kind, responsive, and really patient with our foster pup who is still learning the ropes and recovering from being abandoned. I really appreciated her communication and the thoughtful way she approached our foster’s needs, especially since he’s still working on some training/adjustment and can be a little sensitive. It was clear she cared deeply about making him feel safe and supported. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a sitter who is compassionate and patient.
Beatrix and Elliot have stayed with Paul twice now and Paul always goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! This was a last minute request and he was thankfully able to accommodate! I feel that Paul takes care of my dogs as if they were his own, I know they are safe when they are with him and that brings me so much comfort. He also takes beautiful pictures of them that I very much enjoy lol Extremely thankful for him and so happy to have found him through Rover, highly highly recommend!

Abhi is exceptional! We could not have asked for a better experience. He accommodated a last minute doggy daycare request while we attended a concert at Dodger Stadium. We were from out of town and did not want to leave our senior dog alone for so many hours. Abhi did not hesitate to go above and beyond to ensure our pup was comfortable, felt safe, and loved. She even cuddled up on the couch with him to settle in for the evening. Our event went later than expected due to parking lot delays after the concert, and Abhi was patient, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire process. We highly recommend him and will seek him out again when we are back in the LA area.
