About: I'm a semi-retired teacher following my passion for pets with this Rover pet-sitting and dog walking side-hustle! I've been an animal lover my whole life and have cared for my own animals and friends' dogs and cats since I was a kid. I've learned quite a bit about dog training the past few years and am a big proponent of positive reward training whether that means treats for a job well done, or pets and lovies, or kind words. I have a flexible schedule and am available most times throughout the week and on most weekends. I can do short or long walks with dogs, cat-sitting with treats and play, and dropping in to feed or give your pet attention. I don't have a home that can accomodate overnights with guest animals at this point, unfortunately. So I will only be able to visit your pet at your home or take him or her out in your neighborhood.

“Andrea and her team did a great job looking after my two cats (and temperamental sunflowers) this past weekend. It's good to know that she's in the neighborhood and available on Rover. I would 100% book Andrea again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable cat/pet sitter.”

About: I've grown up around Labradors my whole life. Right now I have a yellow lab named Jasmine. She's a very high energy 10 year old dog. She's not the type of lab who likes to play fetch or even go into water. Which I feel is quite odd. The funny thing about Jasmine, she sounds like a monkey at times when she wants to come in the house. A little about me- I love being out in nature. My favorite place to walk is the beautiful Sherwood parks. I feel dog walking could be a lot of fun on my off season of my main job which is school photography. I've worked as a school photographer for 22 years. So I have a lot of patience with kids and feel I could take on any kind of dog. Right now I'm looking to fill my time walking dogs so I can get more exercise and love on many different types of dogs. I'm looking to make some extra money and take some great walks around town. I'm very dependable and will show up when I say I will. I will always make sure your amazing dog is cared for to the fullest and know they will be in safe hands while I have them.

About: I cared for dogs and cats many many times, including helping family, friends, or even friends neighbors. They have all relied on me to feed them, walk them, and overall make sure they are safe and comfortable while the owners are away. I’ve also cared for dogs with specific medical needs and specific treatment. Having dogs of my own had also taught me to train puppies. I’m currently only working a part-time morning job that goes from 7 am - 10 am. So I am available all days of the week and weekends! I have a medium sized, fenced yard that is great for playing fetch and running around in. And I have 2 super sweet dogs that will keep your dog good company!

About: With years of experience caring for cats and four years managing the needs of our energetic German Shepherds, Ziva and Ares, I bring a wealth of knowledge to pet care. Ziva and Ares, being strong-willed and high-energy, thrive on multiple daily walks, regular obedience training, and playful activities. My extensive background with feline friends, both personally and professionally, complements my ability to handle dogs of all temperaments. I’m eager to bring my experience and passion for pets to provide excellent care for your beloved companions! I love taking long walks with happy pups, rain or shine! My own dogs get at least two walks a day: one early in the morning and another after work. Working remotely gives me the flexibility to meet a variety of needs, and I'm also available on weekends for drop-in visits and care. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I follow a routine tailored to each pet’s needs. I start by maintaining a consistent schedule for feeding, walking, and playtime, ensuring the pets feel secure and engaged. I pay close attention to their health and behavior, making any necessary adjustments to their care. For pets with special needs, I provide extra attention and follow specific instructions closely. I also make sure their environment is clean and safe. Whether it’s for my own pets or a client’s, my goal is to create a comfortable, happy, and healthy atmosphere for every pet.

Trina is amazing! She gave me updates on my cats everyday while I was away. Not just that but also provided me with pictures of them. She also went out of her way to buy more cat litter for me as I forgot to pick some up before leaving for my trip. If ever need to hire another sitter it will be Trina again.
