About: I have owned 4 dogs in the past 30 years; a Chihuahua/Toy Terrier, a Chihuahua/Shitzu, a Dachshund/Corgi and I recently owned a Toy Poodle - who was elderly, anxious, blind and toothless. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge and I miss her so. She was my world! My past dog sitting experience includes overnight care for; a Keeshond, a Terrier, a medium sized mixed breed, a Japanese Chin/Poodle, a Standard Poodle, a Sheltie, and a Pomeranian. Dogs are my special interest and I enjoy loving and caring for them. My 30 years of experience with different dog breeds and temperaments has shaped my ability to have realistic expectations, intentional patience and flexibility with the individual dog personalities that I have encountered. They are all good dogs and I love them all! I am available most days and evenings. I can make home visits to let your dog/s out, walk your dog/s, and/or pet sit overnight as needed. I am flexible with how I can care for your pet. My intention is to keep your dog/s in the routine that they are familiar with so that they can be the calm, happy dog/s they are destined to be.
“Audrey was so fantastic with our cat and dog! Would definitely have her back again. She was communicative and took great care of them both. Our dog ended up having a surgery before we left which meant some additional care for him during the time we were away and Audrey handled that perfectly. Our cat decided to give her the slip on the last day and ran outside. Audrey made an extra trip back to our house later in the day and enticed her back into the house with some treats and wet food which was so appreciated. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in middle school, often dog sitting for neighbors and friends! I grew up with dogs and now have a sweet 2 year old terrier of my own I'm currently working full time so I am looking for more weekend and holiday gigs! This being said I work downtown and usually get off right at 5, so can do evening walks. I have a friendly 20 lbs terrier of my own who loves to play play play! Your pup will certainly not be bored if staying at my home.

About: Former member of UNC-Chapel Hill Puppy Raisers, a student-led organization that works with puppies in partnership with Ears Eyes Nose and Paws of Chapel Hill on their journey to becoming service animals. I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! I have no pets currently so full attention will be devoted to your animal! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and feel comfortable handling all sizes and breeds.

I currently work at a local dog daycare and boarding facility where I specialize in canine body language/behavior management and special needs care. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am completely free anytime after 11:30 AM for walks and midday drop-ins. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I am always available after 6:00 PM, and I have a dedicated midday break perfect for quick potty runs or administering medications. I am widely available for weekday overnight house sitting, and I frequently open up my weekends as well! I treat your home with the utmost respect and keep your pet’s environment as stress free as possible. I will follow your established schedule of feeding, walking, and bedtime to maintain your pet’s sense of normalcy even with the change environment. I will monitor their behavior and health and be sure to keep you updated with frequent pictures so both you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible. I will also provide plenty of playtime, companionship, and of course couch cuddles! I will additionally make sure your home is kept clean, secure, and exactly as you left it.

Jen made a great first impression at our meet and greet. She came prepared with questions which showed her attention to detail and spent lots of time petting Jazzy. Throughout my time away, Jen kept me updated with lots of photos (which I requested) and thoroughly followed Jazzy’s routine. Jazzy looked very happy and relaxed in the photos. I could tell she had a great time with Jen! It was a huge relief knowing my senior dog was in great hands. She also left my apartment very clean. I will definitely be booking her again! 😊
We are so lucky to have found Nora! She is so pleasant to be around, and you can tell she has a genuine love for animals. Having a very busy schedule, I especially appreciate how responsive Nora is and that she is willing to be flexible to make sure your pet is taken care of :) I highly recommend her!
Anik was an amazing cat sitter! Excellent communication, genuine care, and incredible attention to detail throughout the entire stay. The cats received so much love and attention. Anik went above and beyond, including taking the time to train French Fry to run on the wheel! That extra effort and patience really showed how much Anik cared about making the cats happy and comfortable. We would definitely book with Anik for future care.
I’m so glad that Katie was available for my last-minute booking! She was able to work with my busy, last-minute plans. Katie “got” my dog Jasper right away and took excellent care of him. Tons of pictures, videos, and updates kept me informed and worry-free on my trip. She also took great care of my home while I was away too. My dog has some reactivity needs, and Katie was great with accommodating him and giving him lots of exercise, love, and care. I strongly recommend her services! 10/10!
Lizzie was such a great sitter for our dog, Oliver, while we were gone for 9 days. She sent daily updates, followed care instructions perfectly and kept our pup well entertained and cared for while we were away. She kept our house clean and even stripped the bed before locking up on the last day. Will definitely be keeping her in mind for future dog sitting needs.

I don’t know how to adequately express how grateful we are that we hired Stella. If you want the short version without the saga: Stella is THEE best dog sitter EVER. I will hire her again and again!! Smudge loved her immediately at our meet and greet, and we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Then, just before our trip, Smudge had X-rays on his leg and became very sick afterward. We were worried sick. I had Stella come over a second time so I could walk her through the probiotics and instructions from our vet, hoping he would be back to himself in a few days. We had to leave the next day. What happened after we left was something none of us could have imagined, and I cannot imagine what we would have done if Stella hadn’t been the person caring for him. She tried everything to get Smudge to eat and kept us regularly updated on how he was doing. When she became concerned that he wasn’t improving, she proactively told us she thought he needed to go to the emergency vet. She packed his bed into her car so he’d be comfortable and took him. When the first treatment of fluids and anti-nausea medication didn’t work, she took him back to the ER, where he ultimately had to be hospitalized. Stella took a day off work to care for him. When Smudge came home, she dealt with vomit and accidents, did laundry, cleaned up after him and continued caring for him through all of it. She never once complained or made us feel like any of this was an inconvenience. And after Smudge finally started getting better, Stella herself got sick. She cared for our boy as though he were her own dog. She advocated for him when he needed more care, and I truly believe she saved his life. You would be crazy not to hire this amazing human to care for your pets. Stella is 100% part of our family now. If she ever needs anything from us, I hope she knows she can ask. We will never forget what she did for Smudge, and we will be forever grateful to her.
Eric and Rachel were absolutely amazing with our pups! In fact, we already rebooked them before this first booking was even done because we were so happy with how they were treating our pups and their great communication. We have older dogs and our oldest is 14 with some health issues. We haven’t used a pet sitter since our dogs were much younger. So we were very nervous going into this, but Eric and Rachel took amazing care of our dogs, we’re patient loving with them, and always sent us updates and pictures. They also took great care of our home while they were staying there. They and their dog Lilo all have experience with rescue dogs, and you can see that and how they were able to adapt to the quirks and needs of our older dogs. Would recommend without hesitation!
