About: I love dogs and have been caring for them since 2014. I'm a bit more expensive than other sitters because I spend so much time with your pet - no leaving them for hours on end! The only exception being if your dog stays over a work day. As a substitute teacher, I have passed an F.B.I background check and have a flexible schedule. I'm very casual about dogs in my home and love giving them attention and affection. I have a number of repeat clients and have cared for a variety of dogs. About: I am a Pre-Veterinary Medicine and bioscience student with about 1 year of experience handling animals. I currently work at a local dog daycare and boarding facility where I specialize in canine body language/behavior management and special needs care. I will follow your established schedule of feeding, walking, and bedtime to maintain your pet’s sense of normalcy even with the change environment. I will also provide plenty of playtime, companionship, and of course couch cuddles! I will additionally make sure your home is kept clean, secure, and exactly as you left it.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in middle school, often dog sitting for neighbors and friends! I grew up with dogs and now have a sweet 2 year old terrier of my own I'm currently working full time so I am looking for more weekend and holiday gigs! This being said I work downtown and usually get off right at 5, so can do evening walks. I have a friendly 20 lbs terrier of my own who loves to play play play! Jen made a great first impression at our meet and greet. She came prepared with questions which showed her attention to detail and spent lots of time petting Jazzy. Throughout my time away, Jen kept me updated with lots of photos (which I requested) and thoroughly followed Jazzy’s routine. Jazzy looked very happy and relaxed in the photos. I could tell she had a great time with Jen! It was a huge relief knowing my senior dog was in great hands. She also left my apartment very clean. I will definitely be booking her again! 😊
I’m so glad that Katie was available for my last-minute booking! She was able to work with my busy, last-minute plans. Katie “got” my dog Jasper right away and took excellent care of him. Tons of pictures, videos, and updates kept me informed and worry-free on my trip. She also took great care of my home while I was away too. My dog has some reactivity needs, and Katie was great with accommodating him and giving him lots of exercise, love, and care. I strongly recommend her services! 10/10!
Lizzie was such a great sitter for our dog, Oliver, while we were gone for 9 days. She sent daily updates, followed care instructions perfectly and kept our pup well entertained and cared for while we were away. She kept our house clean and even stripped the bed before locking up on the last day. Will definitely be keeping her in mind for future dog sitting needs.
I don’t know how to adequately express how grateful we are that we hired Stella. If you want the short version without the saga: Stella is THEE best dog sitter EVER. I will hire her again and again!! Smudge loved her immediately at our meet and greet, and we felt completely comfortable leaving him with her. Then, just before our trip, Smudge had X-rays on his leg and became very sick afterward. We were worried sick. I had Stella come over a second time so I could walk her through the probiotics and instructions from our vet, hoping he would be back to himself in a few days. We had to leave the next day. What happened after we left was something none of us could have imagined, and I cannot imagine what we would have done if Stella hadn’t been the person caring for him. She tried everything to get Smudge to eat and kept us regularly updated on how he was doing. When she became concerned that he wasn’t improving, she proactively told us she thought he needed to go to the emergency vet. She packed his bed into her car so he’d be comfortable and took him. When the first treatment of fluids and anti-nausea medication didn’t work, she took him back to the ER, where he ultimately had to be hospitalized. Stella took a day off work to care for him. When Smudge came home, she dealt with vomit and accidents, did laundry, cleaned up after him and continued caring for him through all of it. She never once complained or made us feel like any of this was an inconvenience. And after Smudge finally started getting better, Stella herself got sick. She cared for our boy as though he were her own dog. She advocated for him when he needed more care, and I truly believe she saved his life. You would be crazy not to hire this amazing human to care for your pets. Stella is 100% part of our family now. If she ever needs anything from us, I hope she knows she can ask. We will never forget what she did for Smudge, and we will be forever grateful to her.
