About: I have a family dog that has been around since my elementary school days, so I have experience taking care of him from both his time as a puppy and an elder currently! I walk my friend’s dog often and he’s a doggie with a whole bunch of energy. I have some extra time on my hands in between jobs and would love to help out where I can! I currently am looking for something new, so I can stick to a weekly schedule if need be. I am also open for pop ins on one off occasions if there is something new on your schedule! I currently have an apartment with an no-pet policy, but I am open for pop-by to see your furry friend. Alicia stayed with our dog Hazel for a long weekend and we will definitely book her again! Hazel sometimes struggles to warm up to new people but she loved Alicia immediately during our meet & greet. Alicia asked lots of good questions to make sure she was prepared to care for Hazel, and she sent us photos every day.
Sabrina is amazing! Contacted her on pretty short notice (ahead of a holiday weekend nonetheless!) and she was quick to respond and be available. Additionally, she came for a meet and greet and hung out long enough to really get to know Eddie. She was so so flexible, kind and caring and left my place looking perfect.
I booked Jen to sit my senior dog who is very sweet but particular, and she did a fantastic job. Super clearly asking about his needs and his schedule so I could go on a family trip with no worries about my boy. Super timely and clear updates with fantastic pictures that made me feel immediately comforted. I’m looking forward to booking with Jen again when Peanut needs some extra care.
Sophie was an amazing help while we were gone for two weeks. The daily check-ins and pics were so sweet and it was a relief to see the oftentimes-shy kitties cuddling with her. Even our cockatiel got plenty of time out of her cage and loved getting the pics of “Birdman” on Sophie’s head! Not everyone has experience with it or the interest to learn how to handle and bond with a bird but when Sophie was unsure of something she would be proactive and reach out for tips and advice and it sure seemed to work. The dog was happy when we returned but not TOO happy which leads me to believe she had a great time while we were away. The house was in order, garbages taken out, and laundry done so that we could return late at night and get ourselves to bed quickly. We would definitely hire Sophie again for housesitting.
Scott really helped us out with a week of drop-in visits for our two dogs, one of which is rather unpleasant with strangers. He also agreed to oversee our coop of chickens which was very helpful. Scott was accomodating and generally a good communicator, and the pups seemed to like him. I think he did a fine job. We would definitely work with Scott again.
Edwin was a great dog sitter for Cosmo. He communicated with us very promptly and often. He sent pictures a few times a day and Cosmo always looked happy and content. Edwin left our house clean and in order. We would happily have him to take care of Cosmo again!
