“We have used so many dog sitters over the last ten years in the various places we’ve lived, and none of them have had to deal with even half the things Mary had to manage during her few days staying with Pax. In the very first day after we left, Pax was experiencing lots of GI symptoms which led to a lot of cleaning up after him. He also threw up his medications, leading to him having seizures. Mary was so communicative, patient, and calm throughout all of it. Last but not least, she also alerted us right away when our upstairs neighbors hit a pipe, causing a flood in our apartment. She helped to move things around in our apartment, tried to do what she could to protect our things, and was able to wait with Pax while we figured out other arrangements. Mary is truly an angel and we are so thankful she was there with Pax through all of that. We only hope that the experience didn’t scar her for life and we’ll be able to see her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, caring dog lover who treats every pup like my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle time, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow your pet’s routine and keep you updated so you can have peace of mind! I'm a part-time student who takes morning classes Monday-Thursday. I am typically at home the majority of the day, but if I am ever away I will return home for about an hour to take any guests out during lunch (12-1PM). Weekends, I am mostly free. Drop-off/pick-up can be anytime! My schedule is pretty flexible during weekends so if you need a specific time, I can make it work. I'm very accommodating. Just let me know in advance when you are thinking about booking and I can check my schedule for that day. If you have a busy schedule, I can also pick-up and drop-off for free! Let me know what your fur-baby's routine is like (sleep, eat, play schedule). I hope to make your fur-baby comfortable while you are away. For DROP-INS: I have experience with drop-ins for dogs, cats, and fish! If you would like me to do a short walk during the 30 minute drop-in for your pup, let me know! I typically like to refresh their water, give a treat (if you allow it), and make sure they go potty! For cats, I will make sure their water & food is replenished and will clear out litter boxes! I will also water your plants, bring in your mail/newspapers (if requested). Thanks for considering me! About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and have experience in oral med administration with both cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for the big dogs (they're lap-sized if you commit!). I run half marathons so getting good exercise in will be no problem (even in Wisconsin weather!). I'm currently training for distance running, so you can expect great exercise for your pet! Whether it's a long meandering sniff-ari or an intense loop around the neighborhood, I would love to know what fits your dog best. As I'm in your home, your instructions are paramount. You know your pet better than anyone, and I am happy to keep their normal routines in place. I like getting to know each animal and their unique personality, and while I *love* giving snuggles and pets, I understand some pets prefer their space.

“Audrey was so fantastic with our cat and dog! Would definitely have her back again. She was communicative and took great care of them both. Our dog ended up having a surgery before we left which meant some additional care for him during the time we were away and Audrey handled that perfectly. Our cat decided to give her the slip on the last day and ran outside. Audrey made an extra trip back to our house later in the day and enticed her back into the house with some treats and wet food which was so appreciated. Thank you!!”

About: I am a Pre-Veterinary Medicine and bioscience student with about 1 year of experience handling animals. I currently work at a local dog daycare and boarding facility where I specialize in canine body language/behavior management and special needs care. Additionally I completed a 5th month mentorship of clinical veterinary experience where I saw medical routines and gained experience in patient handling in higher stress environments Because I balance college courses and a part-time job, my weekly routine is very consistent and easy to plan around for your pups! On Mondays and Wednesdays, I am completely free anytime after 11:30 AM for walks and midday drop-ins. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I am always available after 6:00 PM, and I have a dedicated midday break perfect for quick potty runs or administering medications. I am widely available for weekday overnight house sitting, and I frequently open up my weekends as well! I treat your home with the utmost respect and keep your pet’s environment as stress free as possible. I will follow your established schedule of feeding, walking, and bedtime to maintain your pet’s sense of normalcy even with the change environment. I will monitor their behavior and health and be sure to keep you updated with frequent pictures so both you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible. I will also provide plenty of playtime, companionship, and of course couch cuddles! I will additionally make sure your home is kept clean, secure, and exactly as you left it.

About: Former member of UNC-Chapel Hill Puppy Raisers, a student-led organization that works with puppies in partnership with Ears Eyes Nose and Paws of Chapel Hill on their journey to becoming service animals. I’m currently working part time, so very flexible with the times and days that I am available to help out with your cats or dogs! I have no pets currently so full attention will be devoted to your animal! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and feel comfortable handling all sizes and breeds.

About: I have a very high level of knowledge and skills of how to take care of cats of any age and ability and enjoy spending time with all kinds of cats. I have much less experience with and knowledge of dogs but I'm very familiar with the basics of feeding and walking. Friends have described me as a cat whisperer and I like to think of myself as such. Not that I might not have challenges, but I know how to meet and vibe and care for them. I have completely open availability for the next month or so as I am unemployed living with friends and trying to establish myself here. I typically like doing care between the late morning and early evening, but anything can be talked about and arranged. I enjoy spending the day alongside animals, being attentive to their needs by taking them out for long walks, providing healthy snacks and cuddles through the day, and offering a calm energy to relax energetic or otherwise anxious pets. I am confident in caring for pets across a range of personalities, and am happy both giving pets lots of attention and energy and coexisting with more introverted pets.
