“Shelly did a great job with our needy little princess. Our dog can be shy with new people and get into trouble on walks but she handled it well and was very flexible with schedule changes.”

“Matt was great! He came and met us the day before our walk/drop in, it was nice knowing he would know exactly where everything was and what to do. During the drop in he sent updates and pics! We will use him again. Thank you again, Matt!”

About: I grew up around many dogs and cats and have experience in taking care of all shapes, sizes, ages and needs. I have pet-sat and house-sat for numerous different families, including a family with 4 big dogs and a puppy! I am up for any challenge. I have experience with grooming and bathing pets as well. I love working with animals. I recently graduated and am currently looking for a job. My schedule is widely available because of this, so I am happy to take on as many requests as I can! I currently live in an apartment that does not allow animals, so I can only offer pet sitting/walking services in your home. I find that this is usually best for the animal to get to stay in an environment they are comfortable in!

“Christina was recommended from my prior Rover dog sitter. I had needed to find a new sitter/walker since my regular Rover dog sitter/walker was not available on my dates. Christina initiated a meet & greet which not every person on Rover offers. I really liked that! She was prompt, professional and my dogs immediately warmed up to her. Although I was out of her normal zip codes, she was willing to walk my dogs when I was out of town. My 2 pups pull on the leash and she was okay with that. I would recommend her to friends & family. Thank you Christina!”

About: OVERNIGHT BUNNY BOARDING AND DOG/CAT/BUNNY DROP-IN VISITS! *dog overnight boarding rates are actually for bunny clients. Hi! My name is Danielle, and I'm an animal lover to the core! While I had my special needs rabbit, I realized how hard it was to find an experienced bunny baby-sitter, especially one that was able to administer medications and care. Now that my little bun has passed away, I thought I could offer this much-needed service to other bunny parents out there. I work from home and between having been previously employed at House Rabbit Society Headquarters, and also at an animal hospital for just over 7 years, I have had both actual training and years of experience to bring to the table...well over 20 years! You can trust that I will care for your little one as if they were my own. I have experience with special needs (medications, injections, fluid therapy, food prep, etc.), as well as a valuable understanding of bunny, cat, and dog behaviors and body language. I treat animals like family members and your fur-baby will be no different! I very much look forward to meeting you and your furry loved one! :) I work from home, so I generally have a fairly flexible schedule and am present quite a bit, making it easier to maintain your baby's schedule and care routines and give lots of attention. I offer Bunny Boarding in my home for a single or bonded pair (or trio depending on their space needs). They stay in my office in my condo, which means I will be around them a lot throughout the day, and away from hub-bub of other animals (like you might expect at other boarding locations) so it's easy to keep things quite and low-stress. For drop-in visits for cats/dogs/bunnies, I tend to spend a moment with treats and greetings before going into play or for walks, showing them I am trust worthy. If they enjoy it, I love giving brushies, and using their favorite toys to play. Always happy to do a little focus work for treats, so if you want me to reinforce any training commands, I would be happy to. Cuddles and petties are an essential and core part of the menu (and personally my favorite part), but I always read body language and energy cues as to how much affection they are interested in at the moment.

About: I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where your dog feels safe, whether it’s their first time away from home or they need a little extra attention due to age or anxiety. I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they get walks, playtime, meals, and attention right when they need it. Whether it’s early morning feedings, mid-day visits, or evening cuddles, I treat each pet like my own and make their care a top priority in my daily routine. I’m caring for pets in my client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions to the letter. I make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and happy in their own environment. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping them company, I handle it all with care and love.

“I really appreciated Christopher's care and consideration from start to finish! We did a meet and greet so he could meet Jojo and learn about any special needs she had, and then he took her for a walk with a full report and amazing photos! So appreciated all elements of his care for Jojo pup and look forward to working with him again!”

“Alexis is such an awesome sitter and she always goes above and beyond to keep me updated on my dog’s care. Receiving Alexis’ activity summaries and photos are a genuine highlight of my day. It is so awesome to know that my Gloria is in such good hands and having a great time while I am away. Alexis allowed me to take my senior dog out of daycare and she is so much happier now. I will continue booking with Alexis for as long as I can!”

About: I have 6 years of pet care experience in Portland and Pittsburgh. I moved to Oakland a few years ago I am now getting back into dog care I have experience with anxious dogs and dogs needing some additional time to warm up to new humans. I currently have a border collie that’s 4 years old so I’m also used to caring for higher energy dogs who need a little more. I love taking dogs on hikes around the bay if that is something your pup is into or to the local park. I also have experience with older and small dogs that require a calmer environment. I hold a graduate degree in psychology and have spent time studying pet behavior and body language and will be happy to apply my skills to your pup and am alway happy to continue reinforcing specific behaviors you are working on with your pup I currently do pet care full time so I will be available all day to care for your pup and can cater my schedules to the specific need of your pup wile I care for them My home is on the first floor with a small fully fenced yard and doggy door (which I can also block is that is your preference) but I find that dogs often find it helps to be able to come in and out. The yard and off the street and has 6ft fence so your pup will be safe. I live alone with my pup so no one else will be in the home

About: I’ve taken care of pets at home and those of my neighbors since I was 7 years old - feeding, walking, playing. It fills my heart to be around animals <3 I work part-time on the weekends so I’m free to hang out with your pets Monday - Friday afternoons. I miss my dogs Charlie and Pinto who live back home with my parents so I’d love to help out with your furry friends! I’m used to taking care of pets inside and out of the home. I’m very comfortable with walking multiple dogs at once or just playing with them at home!

Danielle T.

“Danielle is extremely conscientious and caring with animals, and my chihuahua Gizmo loves her. He takes a while to warm up to people normally, but loves going to see Danielle and Baxter. He is actually a much better behaved dog after spending time with them because she works on training him to walk consistently and has shown me the correct way to walk him and establish myself as his pack leader. ”
