“Our dog really enjoys her walks and time with Colleen. We can tell she really is a dog lover and that’s all you can ask for when looking for someone to take care of your pet for you!”

About: Growing up surrounded by dogs, including German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Dalmatians, I developed a deep understanding and love for pets. I enjoy walking with dogs. As someone who works from home, incorporates daily exercise into their routine, and enjoys spending time outdoors, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly schedule. With two young children at home, I'm currently more inclined towards dog walking, instead of providing any pet care services in my home or client’s home.

About: Hello! My name is Emily, and I'm a pet sitter with a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have been caring for pets for several years, and I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for your furry friends while you're away. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I always treat them with the respect and care they deserve. I am reliable, responsible, and always go the extra mile to ensure that your pet is happy and healthy while in my care. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your fur baby! I am a Registered Nurse who works night shift three days a week so I am pretty flexible with my schedule. I'm sure we will be able to work out a time for both of us. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications, following special dietary requirements, and handling any other specific needs your pet may have. I am dedicated to providing the highest level of care for your pet and ensuring that they receive the love and attention they deserve while you're away.

About: I've taken care of dogs of all ages/breeds for friends, family, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I have experience with specific dietary restrictions and oral medications as well. I am currently between travel contracts (I am a travel occupational therapist) so I have open availability until my next start date. I have a cat of my own that requires oral meds in the evening, but I can be flexible with times. I am very open to what you/your pet may need! I've put dogs on runs in the yard, leashes, or harnesses, as well as keeping them away from interacting with other dogs throughout their walks if needed. Their comfort and safety are top priority.

“I’m so lucky that I found Jodi to help me walk my dog Mochi. Jodi is always on time and she is so patient with my dog. She sent multiple pictures even just for walks. Mochi loves to see her every time when Jodi came to pick him up. Jodi is also very flexible with my schedule as well which makes me feel so relieved. She is definitely reliable. I recommend her if you are looking for an excellent pet sitter/walker for your fur baby.”

“Jennifer was fantastic with Travis! She made him very comfortable, and was extremely attentive and affectionate with him while we were away. Great with updates, photos and videos! She made leaving him behind, much easier. I’d highly recommend and will absolutely use her in the future, when and if she’s available to help care for Travis! I’m sure he will be thrilled as well! Thank you!”

About: I've had cats in my home for 25 years and am a huge animal lover. You will always have a reliable sitter with me! I have administered medication, too. I currently work full time, remotely from home. I'm available mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Weekends, etc. Happy to care for your pet when it is best for you! You will always have a safe, trusted, reliable sitter with me. I love animals and I will ensure they are cared for and loved just as you would care for them!

“100% thrillled with Pams work. My dog Bella is always so happy to see her, and smiling when she comes home. Ive also noted that Bella is walking better on leash and is more well behaved when I take her out. Clearly Pam’s walks are a positive influence!!”

About: I’ve fostered 11 dogs in my adult life in addition to owning two of my own. I’ve had up to 5 dogs living with me at a time and am one to embrace the chaos! Whether I’m staying with your dog overnight or just dropping by for a visit with them, I can help with potty training, socialization, and even teaching your dog basic commands like sit, down, and stay. My 5 year old mutt is a Canine Good Citizen so I know a little about best practices with training. I’m a firm believer in science backed, positive reinforcement only methods so your dog will never be yelled at, dominated, or made fearful under my care. If I’m walking your dog I’m not intimidated by poor leash manners and am happy to help work on them during our walks! No matter your needs, I’m here to help! I work from home 4 days a week, only going to the office on Thursdays. I’m available to help out anytime I’m not in the office. If your dog can be left alone on Thursdays from 8am-4:30pm I’m even available to help on Thursdays. I have two dogs who love other dogs in my home who would be available to help with socializing your dog. I’m a big believer in science based, positive reinforcement training only. Your dog will never be yelled at, dominated, or made fearful when under my care. My 5 year old mutt is very confident and great with showing other dogs (specifically puppies) the ropes.

About: We got my childhood dog, Maxi, when I was 6 years old. Growing up I would help feed her, give her daily walks, hold her still and calm her while my dad cut her nails, clean up her poop in the backyard, sit with her outside so she didn't have to be attached to the lead, and more. She passed away a little over a year and a half ago and now that I'm home and graduated from college, I feel the lack of her presence and miss having a furry friend around. I would love to have the honor to treat your pet like family in whatever way you need. I've dog sit for friends while their families were on vacation, I helped train my sister's dog when he was a puppy, and walked many dogs for neighbors and am excited to put my skills to good use and to learn so much more! I currently am searching for a part time job so my schedule is wide open! Even with the jobs I have applied to, the shifts are no more than 4 hours so giving bathroom breaks will not be an issue. I only have a few weekends I'm traveling for weddings so chances are I am free for whenever you need me! The routine you already have with your pet is the best bet for a smooth transition while you are away. I am more than willing to get acquainted with your pet before you leave and hear how you already handle bathroom breaks, walks, leaving your pet at home when you leave, etc.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I often cared for the pets of the families for whom I nannied, in addition to pet sitting in general. I’m an avid runner and like to walk a lot, so it’s a plus if your dog also likes that. I work from home, and occasionally travel for business. I’m also available depending on your location to stop by to take your dog out or for a walk or to feed them. Your dog can have free range of my townhouse, as long as they’re house trained. Since I work from home, I’ll be there to keep them company. My brother visits here and there and brings his dog who is extremely friendly and loves everyone he meets.

“Maddie was fantastic with our golden retriever puppy! She was willing to meet before the first check in and is very responsive and communicative. We can’t wait for the next visit! :)”

“Brandon was great, Duke always has lots of energy but Brandon handled it like a champ! He was professional and very easy to communicate with, he responds quickly as well. Duke instantly loved him and we can’t wait to rebook Brandon!”

About: I’ve taken care of all animals cats for friends, family and neighbors my whole life no dog or cat is to big or small for me! I work remote and are available almost always during week and weekends! So my schedule is flexible and able to work with your work/life balance I have 4 cats so will not be able to crate or take care of pets at my house, but more than happy to come keep them company anytime of the day

About: As an experienced dog foster, I have had the privilege of caring for both puppies and adult dogs in my home as they await their forever families. This unique experience has equipped me with the skills to handle a variety of temperaments and needs, ensuring your pet receives the best care possible. Additionally, as a dedicated dog and cat owner, I understand the importance of creating a loving and safe environment for all animals. My children are also huge helpers and doggy lovers, so they’re always happy to help socialize and play with pets depending on your level of comfort. If you’re looking for boarding as a first time client for anything more than 2 days, I require a doggy sleepover first (discounted by $10) to make sure your pet is a good fit. Our dog seems to get along best with dogs smaller than he is or more mature dogs, and it’s important for me to make sure everyone is comfortable before committing to anything long term. Thanks for reading and considering me!! I currently work from home and am fortunate to have a very flexible schedule which allows me to be present for your pup as needed. In my home, we have a designated space away from my own pets for decompressing if needed. We have a cozy, finished basement where I work during the day and a heated garage so that they don’t have to interact with my own dog and cat. If the pet is comfortable and wants to meet our dog, I like to first introduce them by walking them together (with a helper). If that goes well, and it usually does, we let the dogs hang out and play together while gradually increasing their time spent together. They’re usually best buddies by the time our visitors leave. 🐾 ❤️

Seven Fields dog parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor was quickly responsive when we were looking for a dog walker, after being new to the neighborhood. She was very tentative, provided updates, and treated our dog with care! She did a full 30+ minute walk and sent us photos of Wiles! We would absolutely book with Taylor again. She was very patient with Wiles as he is adjusting to the neighborhood.
