She lets them out, plays with them, feeds them, and whatever else they need.”

About: Growing up surrounded by dogs, including German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Dalmatians, I developed a deep understanding and love for pets. I enjoy walking with dogs. As someone who works from home, incorporates daily exercise into their routine, and enjoys spending time outdoors, pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly schedule. With two young children at home, I'm currently more inclined towards dog walking, instead of providing any pet care services in my home or client’s home.

About: Pets have been a part of my life since birth. I was the primary caregiver for an English Springer Spaniel (named Chicken!) from her birth into old age (14 years!) and beyond. She showed me true companionship that our pets can have for us, which we are blessed to give back to them. I have experience owning aquatic pets (fish, snails, dwarf shrimp, live plants) - which I currently care for in my Bloomfield apartment. I've cared for dogs (huge and small), cats (active and cozy), aquatic pets, and outdoor animals (cows, goats). I have two-weeks experience independently caring for a friend's home consisting of two large dogs, three rabbits, four chickens, a hamster, and a 20-gallon fish tank while house-sitting, and was very sad to leave the pets at the end of my stay. I've been asked to care for family and friends' companions throughout the years, in and out of their homes. I've cared for pets outside of Pittsburgh growing up in a small town of farms and mountains, and now in the city around Bloomfield's Friendship Park and surrounding neighborhoods. I find passion in building relationships with people and the pets that bring us together. After finishing graduate school in the winter, I have been taking time to pursue the simple things in life that bring me fulfillment and joy. These things include time with my wife, outdoor activities, and pets! I am free Monday through Saturday all day long in and out of the house. I am available to walk your pet(s) and to check-in with them at your home. Every animal and household are unique. I take special care to learn the rules of your home and your pet to apply them as if you were there with us. Pets love their freedom (just like us!), but boundaries keep us humans and our furry companions safe and comfortable with clear expectations.
