About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving hands. I own a local fitness studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. Most weekdays, I'm available between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, or spending quality time with pets. My mornings typically begin around 8:00 a.m., and I'm at my studio from approximately 9:00–11:00 a.m. and again from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Because I have flexibility throughout the day, I can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, meals, and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys an active walk, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby, I'll make sure they receive attentive, personalized care while you're away. I know that every pet is different, so my first priority is getting to know your dog's routine, personality, and any special needs before their stay or visit. I'll follow your instructions closely, whether that's feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, or little routines that help your pet feel comfortable. In my home, pets will have a clean, calm environment with plenty of attention, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and a comfortable place to rest. I live in an apartment with easy access to sidewalks, green space, and a nearby dog park for dogs who enjoy socializing (only with your permission). If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own while keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Above all, my goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

My parents have a 6 year old black lab that I watch regularly when they go out of town, and I watch my friend’s shorkie regularly as well! I would love to get to know your furry best friends! I’m a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to a sweet Golden Retriever who’s very much part of my everyday life. My Lucy Goose is a large Golden Retriever with the sweetest, most gentle “little dog energy.” She’s very social, kind, and welcoming, and does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She has happily shared her space with smaller dogs and special-needs pets, and all interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I work during the week for about 6–8 hours a day, and outside of that time my life revolves around walks, fresh air, playtime, and creating a calm, loving home. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, and I’m intentional about making sure every pet in my care gets plenty of attention, affection, and consistency. I treat every pet like they’re my own—learning their quirks, honoring their routines, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was 4 years old! From frogs and lizards, to rabbits and hamsters, to cats and dogs, caring for animals has always been my passion. I studied Marine Biology in college and began volunteering in the community as a dog walker and cat caretaker for the humane society. After graduating, I went straight into veterinary medicine, spending 5 years in emergency and critical care before transitioning into veterinary oncology, where I’ve spent the last 2 years caring for pets through some of their toughest moments. I consistently have Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday off. I am always willing to stop before and after my work days as well. For dogs: I love taking dogs on peaceful park adventures for fresh air and exercise, choosing quiet times with no other dogs around to keep outings comfortable, safe, and stress-free. Sometimes will take them to get a pup cup (if they like car rides and have no stomach issues). I always ask owners what their pets love the most, whether it is walks, playing fetch or enjoying a favorite snack! Cats: They deserve a space where they feel safe, comfortable, and completely at ease! 🐱🤍 I strongly believe in creating a low-stress environment and letting every cat settle in at their own pace, with plenty of patience, love, and respect for their individual personality. Your kitty will have their own room to relax, a cat tower to climb, toys galore, and fresh catnip on hand for extra fun! 🌿 If your cat enjoys socializing, my very friendly resident cat and small dog are happy to offer some company, too.
