I LOVE all animals, (especially doggies!!) I have one pup and a cat myself but have previously volunteered for a pet rescue as a dog foster and have helped find homes for many doggies by caring for them in my home while they awaited being adopted into their forever homes. Those beautiful, rewarding experiences have taught me how to handle many different types of temperaments and needs. I feel like I can connect with most animals and truly love each pet I get to meet on Rover. Currently, this is my only “work” as I raise my kiddos and volunteer in the community, so I am fully available to love on, and be present for your pups (or kitties, if needed). For any new clients, I will happily make myself available for a cost-free meet & greet to ensure your pet is comfortable with me caring for them while you're away and for us to discuss all the important things I’d need to know to properly love on your 🐶 or 🐱. Liza has been taking care of Finley for 5 months. (Since we brought him home at 8 weeks). Finley absolutely adores Liza. We call her auntie Liza. He gets so excited when I tell him auntie liza is coming. She always sends us daily detailed updates and photos which we really appreciate. She’s also been helping us train him and get rid of his puppy habits. She’s the absolute best!
We received daily updates and pictures of our dog while we were on vacation. He seemed to have a lot of fun and enjoyed his stay with Liza and her family! Overall we felt he was well taken care of while we were gone and we would use her as a sitter again!
Liza was amazing! Lots of updates and photos. She took great care of my pup and her cousin pup.
Liza did a great job every step of the way. She is wonderful at communicating and providing updates. Liza helped my dog become comfortable quickly in her home and with her dog. Liza is dog-savvy and easy to work with.

I am currently not working while I focus on raising/supporting my children and walking/playing with your pets. I am very available and flexible. 🐾 ❤️

Safety, trust & environment
In your home, I do my best to follow the provided instructions to ensure your doggy is comfortable with my being there, rather than you. I also like to provide a detailed summary with pics after each visit because who doesn't love updates on their babies?! If a pet is coming to stay with me, I like to provide a quiet space away from my other pets for decompressing. Depending on the pet, sometimes this takes a few days as it is stressful for most dogs to be away from their families/homes. We have a glass door that separates our finished basement from our main floor so if dogs seem like they'd like to meet, we introduce the animals slowly and assess their behavior. Most times, the pups end up becoming best buds with our Cody Pup Pup (and my three kiddos) by the ends of their visits.

A typical day
I like to let each doggy take the lead. For playful pups, I’m all about playing fetch, tug of war, hide & seek. Walks are my favorite, though. My own dog gets 2+ walks a day, and I love to check out new neighborhoods and parks for new sniffs, too. If your pup tends to be a more lazy, I am fully available for allll the cuddles and belly rubs.

- The more info you can give me about your pet in advance is helpful. How do they interact with new people? I want to gain their trust as quickly as possible.
