About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.
About: While volunteering for dog rescue for 6+ years, I’ve had the opportunity to foster over 160 dogs of all ages, administer just about every type of medication, and vaccinate 1000’s of dogs traveling to foster and adopter homes I do not work for anyone else. My time will be fully dedicated to your pet along with my own and with as much love I have 3 friendly dogs at home. I have the ability to keep dogs separately in open or closed rooms. Crates or not crated. Once comfortable, they can spend time on the couch and playtime with other dogs with your approval.

This means that our dog needs an athletic dog walker who is willing to traverse our hilly streets during all seasons or conditions. About: My family always had quite a few pets growing up. Not just cats and dogs. We had birds, reptiles, fish and farm animals. It wasn’t always easy but it was worth it. Now it’s just my pup Beef, making friends around the neighborhood. My schedule is fairly flexible. Making a regular schedule is always preferred, but last minute requests are welcome. Not all days and pets are the same! I do prefer to care for pets at their owners home, at least at first, where they’re comfortable. If the pet is more independent, walks and feeding can be of service. My pup, Beef loves to play and has brought other dogs out of their shell to socialize. I am so thankful for Colleen! She kept in close communication the entire time even with the time zone difference as we were overseas. One of our cats is shy with a medical condition that requires medication, and Colleen found the perfect solution to get her to take her medicine consistently all while keeping her stress levels as low as possible. Alexa was amazing! She was on time (actually a few minutes early) every single visit, provided great updates, shared pictures throughout the visits, played ball in the yard, cleaned up messes, and actually offered to take our little one to the vet when she needed to go, which also resulted in her administering medications. This is our second time booking Hailey and I’d be happy to book her again. She’s dependable and provided great communication. She took such good care of our cat, fixed our auto feeder when he tipped it over, and let us know that it happened so we could make sure it was still dispensing as needed. Pam did drop-in visits for my two cats and three fish tanks, all with their own quirks and instructions, and she did a fantastic job. Their spaces looked great, I could tell everyone was always fed, and it looked like she was never in the house at all.
