About: Dog walking & sitting was my very first job, and has always remained my favorite. I am a mom to a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles boy but have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including older ones who require medications. I only work very part-time and am looking to make dog walking more a part of my weekly life! They say a job should be what you love doing and I love taking care of doggos. I can make your dog's care a priority, dedicating time and focus on them. I am punctual and trustworthy, and offer clear and consistent communication. I understand how it feels to leave your dog's care in someone else's hands. Sometimes we just have to! I will show up to your home on time, taking your doggo for the exercise they need, and making sure they have ample bathroom and play time.

About: I am a 19-year-old animal lover with over 6 years of pet-sitting experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. My passion for animals started at a young age, and beginning at 13, I regularly walked dogs for several neighbors. Through pet sitting, I have gained experience with animals of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to horses and farm animals. I am dedicated to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. 🐾 I currently work part-time at my family’s coffee shop, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I am often available for early morning visits before work, midday visits after my morning shift (typically around noon), and evening care as needed. I am reliable, responsible, and happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that meets their pets’ needs. I also have a friendly bulldog who loves meeting new people and dogs. If your dog enjoys socializing and you’re comfortable with it, I can bring her along for company during visits. Of course, your pet’s comfort and preferences always come first, and I will only do this with your permission.

About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving hands. I own a local fitness studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. Most weekdays, I'm available between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, or spending quality time with pets. My mornings typically begin around 8:00 a.m., and I'm at my studio from approximately 9:00–11:00 a.m. and again from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Because I have flexibility throughout the day, I can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, meals, and companionship. Whether your pet enjoys an active walk, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby, I'll make sure they receive attentive, personalized care while you're away. I know that every pet is different, so my first priority is getting to know your dog's routine, personality, and any special needs before their stay or visit. I'll follow your instructions closely, whether that's feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, or little routines that help your pet feel comfortable. In my home, pets will have a clean, calm environment with plenty of attention, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and a comfortable place to rest. I live in an apartment with easy access to sidewalks, green space, and a nearby dog park for dogs who enjoy socializing (only with your permission). If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own while keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I'll also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Above all, my goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

Patience is something that I have no shortage of and nothing can scare me away as I have seen it all, the good, the bad & the ugly. I am a huge advocate for animal shelters as I have logged an immense amount of hours volunteering and have helped rehabilitate abused animals. I have rescued 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 sugar glider, and have helped families find their forever fur babies. I have two dogs of my own: a Sheltie named Meeko, that has been with me since he was 8 weeks old and is now 16. And my very large 140lb, sassy and cuddly Malamute, Luna, who has just turned 9. I promise to treat your animals as if they were my own, because I 100% understand the struggles of trusting someone else with their babies. I work from home, so I’m able to give your furbaby constant attention, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playtime throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. My mornings start with a walk and feeding, and I keep a steady rhythm of exercise, cuddles, and check-ins from there. Evenings wind down with another good walk and calm bonding time before bed. Because my schedule is flexible, I can easily accommodate feeding times, medication schedules, and each pet’s unique routine. In my home, pets get a safe, comfortable space with plenty of room to relax and play. I keep fresh water available at all times, stick to their regular feeding schedule, and make sure they get regular potty breaks and exercise. I give lots of attention and affection throughout the day, and I keep dogs separated or supervised as needed so everyone feels secure. I send photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing. In your home, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to minimize stress—same feeding times, walk routes, and play habits they’re used to. I’m happy to handle feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box or potty cleanup, and any medications. I’ll also bring in mail or packages and keep your home tidy and secure while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos
