Pet care experience
I love to help other pet parents
I am located in cranberry and work in pittsburgh so my service radius is through that area. Please note I work full time Monday-Friday in the office so cannot drop in during the day, but can before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Due to my young family I am currently not accepting overnight care, but I am available for drop ins. I have been in the pet sitting business since 2018 where I have consistently sat and walked cat, dogs, and bunnies. I also have some experience sitting guinea pigs and hamsters. Since starting this in grad school I have learned this is a good source of extra income to go towards our future home. Plus I love helping other pet parents, so even though this is a side gig this is my fun “job” aka my way to do something I love while helping others. I have multiple clearances including act 31, 33, and 73 with working with vulnerable populations and can provide proof with request.

We have four dogs and she was fantastic she gave us updates and pictures daily. She treated all four like they were her own. She was always on time and cleaned up any accidents. I would highly recommend Mikaela. We went away for a week and had peace of mind because she took care of them with the care and passion we were hoping for.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am available for drop ins and walks before or after work along with overnight stays as long as your pet is okay with being alone while I am at work. I will try my best to work to meet your pets needs while caring for them and communicate openly with you along the way. Your pets are my priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I have my distance as further, since I do go into the city on a regular basis. However, with current gas prices I try to keep my clients either near by to where I live or somewhere I already venture often. I am willing to do further drop ins or stays; however, please know I may increase my rate to compensate for the gas prices (I would love to do this for free but this girl’s gotta eat). I am well trained and adjusted to various pets and their personalities. I consistently walked a senior pup for 2 years, as well as, I have experience with puppies so I am well versed. I grew up with dogs and have 2 cats of my own so I am skilled in a wide range of outgoing to reserved kinds of pets.
Pets
A typical day
When I play with pups I love to take them on a walk, or to throw their favorite toy for them to play fetch. My favorite is to play ball outside to tire out your doggos, and to go on walks to explore new areas. I also love to hike so parks are always a fun go to!
