“So if you are looking for a breath of fresh air for an animal sitter do not look any further. Jodi went beyond just taking care of our dog who is a lab 60 Ibs. Down to every detail I ask her to do she did plus did more. She brought out our garbage to the curb and brought in our mail each day. We had a camera which we told her we had. When we had a chance to look at it she was interacting with our dog, excited to be there and our dog always greeted her with a wagging tail and his toy. She walked him each visit and did not care about the 1/2 hour she had to be there. She stayed as long as he did his business and was happy. She truly loves her job and it shows. If you are reading this review please beware of dog sitters that have good reviews. We do have a camera (which we tell each of them) and have seen dog sitters sit on the chair waiting for the 1/2 hour to be up. They leave back door open and just stand there while the dog is outside for 10 minutes then they leave. When we ask to walk the dog they have an excuse why they did not walk like the weather. Jodi is a gem and nothing like the negative comments I wrote. I will definitely be hiring her again!!”

About: I have been dog sitting for over 3 years and have experience caring for a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I am also a sitter with Freedom Paws, where I care for service dogs when their raisers are in class or at work. Many of these dogs are puppies under one year old, so I help reinforce their training, including basic obedience, socialization, and leash manners. About: I’m a lover of all animals, but dogs have always had my heart. There is nothing quite like the joy that comes with being surrounded by dogs. Their instantaneous affection, contagious happiness, and unique personalities make me so excited to interact with any dog that I cross paths with. I love my job as a special education teacher, but I have always wanted to work with dogs in some capacity, too. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life & understand that beyond their basic needs being met, what they really need is a whole lot of love, and humans who are willing to take on their abundance of love, as well. I hope to make lots of new furry friends on here and give them so much love!! I have a full-time teaching job, so during the school year I am available on nights (after 4pm) and weekends. Over the summer and during holiday breaks, my schedule is much more flexible! I have two dogs that currently live at my parent’s house and come to stay with my every few weeks. This arrangement began when I got my dogs in college and could not keep them in my apartment, and we have found that it works best for them since I am gone most of the day for work. That said, my home is open and animal-free for any pet stays. We have a walkable neighborhood with friendly neighbors and fellow dogs. I also have experience dog-sitting at the dog’s home for those who do better with keeping their usual routine.

About: Not only have I grown up with dogs, I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats of my own. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and am looking to help in any way I can. I would love to help your pup get some sunshine and exercise throughout the week. I currently teach at SLCC in the mornings until about 10 am. MWF I have an afternoon job but I have some hours in between my schedule and in the evenings to help care for your fur baby. I have a fenced in yard to give your dog freedom and safety. I also am very active so your pup will never be lacking in the exercise department.

About: I have extensive experience with animals of all sorts. I grew up with English mastiff dogs, then became a husky lover later on in life. I've owned sheep, goats, cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats and much more. I grew up on a mini farm and we always had different animals who were raised with lots of love and care. About: I have been taking care of dogs for years as I’ve trained my own dog to be a service dog when she started as a rambunctious puppy. I have had dog aggressive dogs who I’ve helped them be able to overcome those issues. I as well am able to be very active and can handle large dogs as I have a mastiff and Great Dane of my own. I currently work part time in retail. But would love to get out and get another job that I will enjoy. So I will have a functional schedule that I can always work around with to cooperate with my clients.
