I also worked in the doggy daycare setting as both a playgroup supervisor and a kennel assistant so I am used to correcting behavior and finding ways to keep your doggo entertained! About: Animals of all kinds have always been drawn to me. for as long as i can remember, i’ve wanted to take care of animals in some fashion. Rover is the perfect way to do that while i’m still in college! I work part time at Getgo on south pike rd, while also going to school full time for Psychology. I’ll be able to spend time with your fur baby after work, after school, and in my free time thursday - saturday. we have two golden retrievers who are the sweetest boys around. we have a front and back yard, neither are fenced in due to their size.

About: While technically I have zero years of “pet care experience”, I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I can remember. My family has owned dogs such as Alaskan Malamute's, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers and Labradors. Whenever a friend or family member has needed someone to take care of their pet while they’re away, I am one of their first calls. I have loved animals my whole life and this is a good way to help those that need it. I do work a full time job, however there’s a lot of downtime during my working 9-5 hours which gives me the freedom/flexibility to do this. I will be able to care for your pets however I need to based off the clients requests. As long as there is enough communication between the client and myself I will accommodate.

I have grown up with a mixture of dogs in my life, have dog sat for years and recently have gotten my own dog Odie who is a Basset Hound. I love dogs and love caring for them. Currently, I am not working so I am very flexible in my availability! I can do morning, afternoon or evening walks. I can also help with breakfast or dinner or anything else you might need for your pet! I am very accommodating and can do pretty much anything you need for your dog. About: I've had multiple dogs and cats my whole life and they have all been my best friends! We like to cuddle, go on walks and learn new skills. I'm no stranger to pets of all different personalities and know how to meet them where they are. I'm experienced in providing insulin to dogs and topical treatment to cats. I don't currently have pets of my own but have spent weeks looking after the cats and dogs of friends and family. I love those times that I'm able to bond with their fur babies and would love to get to know yours as well! I currently work remotely and can be available for boarding throughout the week and weekend. I'm available to hangout with your pets, take them on walks or bathroom breaks, feed times or personal enrichment, whatever they may need. I have a backyard that pets can run around in, it is fenced on one side only so they would need to have a long leash for safety. I don't have other pets so they wouldn't have any problems there! If coming to your home I'm happy to go by the rules that you set and the comfort levels that you have. I always find pets do best in their comfort zones anyway and I'm excited to meet them where they are!

My father was a dog breeder (pitbulls <3), so being surrounded by puppies and dogs is something I've become accustomed to! I have experience with dog walking and sitting multiple breeds at once and administering medication as instructed. While dog sitting at your home, I'll also tend to any messes that are made, bring your newspapers/packages/mail, and give you thorough daily updates of what's going on around the home. Upon request I'm able to provide proof of having 5 star ratings for 150+ services I've already completed for other pet parents. For dog walks, I'm capable of handling small to gigantic dogs. I can work with dogs that pull. I prefer to use a waist leash (I have my own) while walking dogs since it allows me to be hands free and have more control with your pet. Of course, if you prefer your pet's own leash, that's fine too. :) I am self-employed so I am able to make my own schedule for work days and hours. If extended stays or additional pets need longer periods of care, I can adjust to these changes. When pet owners provide me with particular details on how to care for their pets (feeding schedules, administering medication, crating, etc.), I will be a able to provide proper care for any pet.

About: I am extremely clean and organized and when it comes to animals I love taking care of them and keeping there things clean and neat I'm currently doing part time bookkeeping for certain clients as well as teaching guitar lessons also part time so I am very open in terms of scheduling I have a large back and front yard and I live on a culdesac that is extremely dog-friendly and would be very easy for me to take them on frequent walks

About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc).
