About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. About: Hi! I just moved to Butler about a year ago and looking to get back into Rover! I did it for about a year or two in Missouri. I have an electric fence but I ONLY would use the collar with parents permission. If not, I will walk them out or put them on a lead. I’ve always taken care of dogs since forever basically lol I’ve always had a dog throughout my life and I currently have 2 friendly fur babies myself. Ninno-boxer and Skye-lab mix. I have had mostly bigger dogs, like boxers labs golden retrievers pit bulls and border collies. I can bathe if needed with your permission and they’re comfort level. My dogs are on flea and tick shots they get once a month. I work from home so I’m always here. Your baby will rarely be alone and if so, it’s only to run to get groceries and occasional times out. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have half an acre for them to run around as they please and a few dog beds for their comfort. I have two dogs that can provide tons of fun and exercise, but with your permission we can also go for walks/runs.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are my busy days, but I get done by 4pm and have breaks in between all my classes. All other days I am completely free! I have a safe home with a large yard for your furry friend to run and get their zoomies out! Everything in my home is put away and out of reach that could potentially harm your pet.

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.
About: I’ve taken care of many different types of animals for 8 years now! I have experience mainly with dogs and cats but have also taken care of reptiles and fish as well! I have experience in walking pets, giving medicine, and pretty much any other tasks you need done! I currently have multiple repeat clients that I take care of weekly but would love to fit more into my schedule! I also have 6 pets of my own that I take care of every single day! I will make sure your fur baby is safe and protected at all times! I’m very good with animals and absolutely love working with them!

About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion nearby. I live in an apartment with easy access to outdoor walking paths, sidewalks, and a nearby dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving hands. I own a local fitness studio, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. Most weekdays, I'm available between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, or spending quality time with pets. My mornings typically begin around 8:00 a.m., and I'm at my studio from approximately 9:00–11:00 a.m. and again from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Because I have flexibility throughout the day, I can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, meals, and companionship.
