About: My dog is 17 years old and he only eats meat that we cook like hamburger and steak as well as he needs to go on walks more often. My dog is blind and deaf so he barks to communicate. He is about to turn 18 in 2 months. I am good with both puppies and older dogs For now I do not have a full time job so I am looking to fill my time and make money by walking and taking care of dogs I have worked for multiple family friends as dog sitters and walkers. About: I have been taking care of dogs big and small since I was 10 years old, as well as pet fish, hamsters, guinea pigs. I’ve always offered to help family friends neighbors take care of there’s as well wether it’s walking, bringing them on rides, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love to them while there owners are gone. I’ve also worked at a couple farms before so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals and a very big heart for every single one of them. I am working locally this summer a few days a week but have a flexible schedule so I can make sure any routine for your pup is kept! I have a big vehicle so if they are ok in the car I can bring them to the lake, for a walk on one of the local trails, or just for a ride on a nice day. Most dogs I’ve been around have been put in crates weather they were being trained as a puppy or can’t be left out in the house alone so I know how to handle that if needed at any time. I make sure there water bowls are ALWAYS full and when to feed them. I clean up there messes if needed and try to keep things tidy even if they just take everything out again. I give them lots of pets and attention and learn there attitudes and personality as well as I can so I know them better and they can trust me.

About: I am 28, very responsible and I love animals. It makes me happy to be there for them when their humans can’t be. I am NOT like other sitters who claim to be caring for your pet but are actually leaving them home alone for hours without your knowledge.. I genuinely care about their happiness. I am up front and honest about my schedule and will do my best to accommodate last minute requests! Some of my professional experience includes working at doggy day care center in Colorado where I cared for many energetic dogs at once. I got to know many dogs personalities and I learned to safely gauge their body language and quirks to ensure they were always kept safe and comfortable. Now I live in Sebago, work in Bridgton and I am looking to care for pets from when I get out of work Wednesday night until I go back Sunday morning ! That’s 3-4 days of my undivided attention put toward your fur baby! I also have a wonderful fiancé who is great about helping out if you need to drop off or pick up your pet if I am unavailable at the time. I will always be honest and helpful because that just makes everyone’s life easier, doesn’t it !? Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or an adventure outside, I love making sure all pet friends feel happy, safe, and loved while their humans are away. I can bring your dog on rides, hikes or to the dog park if they crave exercise and fun! Or I can simply stay home with them and give belly scratches and toys if that’s what they enjoy. I have access to a private beach on the lake just a short walk from my house so if your doggy likes to swim and run on the beach then they will get plenty of time to do so! I know how stressful it is to leave your pets behind but you can relax knowing they will be loved and cared for until you return! Please note that I have a Large Bully Breed Dog and 3 cats at home. They love meeting new dogs but it’s always a great idea to have everyone meet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone! I am available to house sit/ dog walk Thursdays-Saturdays and every other Wednesday (refer to my availability calendar). On these days you can be sure that your pets get my unwavering attention all day and night. I don’t usually accept requests on sun-tues because I work long hours on those days and won’t be able to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. Sunday evenings are sometimes open upon request. I try to spend most of my time outside as I believe dogs like fresh air and nature more than being cooped up inside. I take the time to learn about the animal to make sure they are comfortable and happy and that we are doing what they enjoy. I always check to make sure toys/ choking hazards are picked up before I leave them alone. And I leave them with plenty of water unless otherwise directed by the owner. I don’t let big dogs run or play immediately after eating/drinking because of the risks to their stomach “flipping”. I use common sense and ensure they are always safe.

We have taken care of Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Turtles, Fish, Chickens, Ducks, Goats, Pigs, Horses, worms, snails, etc. If you have some fun and interesting animals we would love to come, meet you and them, and take care of them while you are out of town, or just at work! We welcome pets that love to snuggle in bed, elderly pets, as well as difficult and anxious pets. Sometimes our posted rates don’t meet your special needs pets, and appreciate your patience in the negotiation process. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.
