About: Who's a good dog? All of them. My step-dog is the love of my life, and I'm the person who talks to animals more than humans at a party. I have experience with: Dogs, cats, fish, rodents, horses, chickens, other birds, reptiles, and more. As a former field biologist, I handled a wide variety of animals and completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) training. I'm open to caring for almost any critter. Send me a message so we can discuss what your critter needs. New-ish to Rover. Previously, all my clients were by word of mouth in extreme southern Maine and New Hampshire. We recently moved, and I decided it was time to join Rover. My schedule is variable, so just message me so we can discuss what your critter needs. This summer I have lots of availability. Thank you! About: Dogs and cats love my hands-on, dependable care. Whether it’s timely feeding, active walking, tossing a frisbee or tennis ball or a soothing snuggle, your beloved dog will love to see me. You can rest easy knowing your companion is in good hands. I am available for overnight sits with advance notice as well as drop-in visits. Weekdays I can drop in as well as evening visits. I am also available for walks. Please note if you are farther than 15 miles from Bridgton, I will require reimbursement for fuel expenses. I am able to care for small dogs in my home but prefer to care for pets in your home due to restrictions in my HOA.

About: I have been taking care of dogs big and small since I was 10 years old, as well as pet fish, hamsters, guinea pigs. I’ve always offered to help family friends neighbors take care of there’s as well wether it’s walking, bringing them on rides, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love to them while there owners are gone. I’ve also worked at a couple farms before so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals and a very big heart for every single one of them. I am working full time locally with Sundays and Mondays free! I have a big vehicle so if they are ok in the car I can bring them to the lake, for a walk on one of the local trails, or just for a ride on a nice day. I love spoiling my own pup so yours are gonna be spoiled just as much! Most dogs I’ve been around have been put in crates weather they were being trained as a puppy or can’t be left out in the house alone so I know how to handle that if needed at any time. I make sure there water bowls are ALWAYS full and when to feed them. I clean up there messes if needed and try to keep things tidy even if they just take everything out again. I give them lots of pets and attention and learn there attitudes and personality as well as I can so I know them better and they can trust me.

About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years, for both my own pets and others. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, 2 “house dogs”, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I have children in my home (ages range from 16 – 4) who have all grown up with both cats and dogs and are well versed in respecting their personal space. I offer drop-ins to provide potty breaks, mid-day walks, house sitting for your cats, dog boarding in my home, and doggy daycare services. I work from home for the majority of the week, so my home offers constant companionship for those needing some support during the day or while their people are away. A few things that set my care apart: - Experience with crate training/trained dogs. I can offer support in that field if it is something you are working on with your dog. - While I do not currently have a fenced-in yard, I do live on a private dead-end road in a quiet neighborhood. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. - Daily photos of your pet for check-in purposes, or if they’re just being cute. - Experience with puppies and young dogs, as well as older dogs who may prefer a quieter environment. My home office space provides a calm space to spend the day with me individually. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and freshwater aquariums and can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed as long as instructions are provided. Your pet will always feel loved, safe, and comfortable while in my care. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. As mentioned above, if your pet requires a crate to feel safe and secure, we have the experience and space to accommodate that. I do require that for overnight bookings, if your dog is crate trained, that you bring their crate with them. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I will not wander around the home; it is strictly in to fill water and food, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private and personal, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for your pets and your home.

About: I’ve cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I know how important your pet is to you and I always promise to treat them like my own. I can check in on them for walks, feedings, and playtime so that they feel loved and cared for! I’m currently available everyday for walks and drop ins. Although Thurs-Saturdays I am only available after 2pm due to my part time summer job. I can no longer offer overnight pet sitting unfortunately. But if you need a daily check in while you are at work or if you’re planning on being out on the lake all day and need someone to stop in and stay with your buddy so they don’t get lonely then I just may be the perfect fit! I follow instructions and use common sense to ensure your pet stays safe and has all of their needs met. I keep your house tidy as I come and go and keep you updated with plenty of pictures so you can have peace of mind.

About: I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by large animals like cattle and horses, which gave me a deep appreciation for working with animals from a young age. My passion for animal care led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent several years working in a large animal hospital. During this time, I gained extensive experience handling various animals, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, and providing routine care. I also have a 8 year-old German Shepherd named Nala. These experiences have strengthened my skills in animal health and care, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes. About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).
