About: I’ve volunteered at the San Diego animal shelter and taken trainer courses to become certified to meet their standards. I’ve fed, bathed, walked, played and socialized with all kinds of dogs big small hyper calm young and old! I love them all! In my travels on the road I would find time to visit the local animal shelters and walk some of their dogs! If I ever see a stray or even a question in doubt about a dog I will try and find it it’s owner/home or bring it to safety. I can handle all types of dogs and love to see them happy and comfortable!! After all they are our babies!! Navy veteran, mother of two wonderful children and a small amazing Cavapoo! I have Friday through Sunday available can even take an over night on the occasional Thursday! Looking forward to meeting you and your pup 🐶 I have a large covered porch for bird watching for the peaceful environment but outback in the private backyard the pups can explore and let their hair down!! I will walk the perimeter of my property multiple times a day! A 10x10 kennel and ground stakes with leads for pups to stay tied to! There are walking trails within walking distance of property lots of good adventures await!! Will feed when requested with the food provided and constant and endless water supplied in more than one location!!! Hydrated dogs are happy dogs!!Your dog will be right at home away from home. Well mannered pups will be loose in the house. Have rooms with large enough space to separate dogs too if there is ever a concern for anyone’s safety. Please bring: harness, collar and leash, dog food and bowls. Special medication if any required. For comfort please bring their crates if they love them and bed or blankets a toy or two and a pillowcase or shirt that smells like mamma or dad so they know you are always near!!

6. Melissa S.
“Freya ADORES Melissa and Royce. Whether it’s one day, or two weeks, she’s happy to be there. She’s an anxious older dog but chills right out with Royce at her side, and always comes come exhausted from playing with him. ❤️ Melissa is super communicative and kind, the dogs spend lots of time outside and get lots of love. Finding a good place for Freya to stay has given us so much comfort and freedom!”
7. Chelsea B.
“Chelsea took such great care of our pup. We reached out to her last minute and she was available and eager to help us with our dog. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely reach out to her. Thanks again, Chelsea!!”
8. Kyle & Mariah H.
“Kyle and Mariah were amazing! They watched our Golden for the day as we ran errands in Portland with such short notice. It really eased us being able to drop him off. Tito got to play with their dog Nakita and their toddler and did so well. What a beautiful, kind, caring family. If we’re ever back from California, we will for sure be asking them to watch our dog again!!”
9. Sara T.
“I am so grateful to have found Sara. My dog has separation anxiety, which really puts a damper on our ability to get out and do things. Sara took time to do a meet-and-greet to find out about Muppet, let him check out the place, meet her other pets, etc. I could tell right away she had a heart for pets, and we were both comfortable with her right away. Muppet had his first stay with Sara while my husband and I had a Saturday out. Muppet was calm and happy when I picked him up, and I could tell he had a nice, stress-free time and was well looked after. Sara was also kind enough to take and share a few pics from Muppet's visit. I feel totally confident leaving Muppet in Sara's caring and capable hands, and I'm so happy to have found someone so close to us in Standish.”
10. Katryn P.
“2 weeks ago Katryn cared for my 7 sheep, pony, and draft horse. She visited twice a day, cleaned the stalls very thoroughly, gave them clean water, medicated the pony, and fed them. She also went above and beyond what was being asked of her by grooming the horses and braiding their mane! When we arrived home a week later the stalls were clean, water buckets filled, and the barn was swept up. She contacted us daily to let us know all was well. I don't believe you will find anyone more conscientious than Katryn to care for your animals. I would not hesitate to have her return and care for my beasties!”
11. William O.
“William and his wife were amazing and I highly recommend them. Our dog was happy and came home exhausted from a fun day.”
12. Miranda W.
“Miranda and her family and dog, Max, were wonderful! So friendly, warm, and accommodating. They made our dog feel loved and happy and gave him tons of exercise and fun while we skied during the day. Our dog, who usually is very hesitant to get in the car, hopped right in each morning when we said "Wanna go play with Max?". We couldn't have been happier with our experience. Skippy was happy and exhausted (in the perfect way) when we picked him up at the end of each day which made our nights in the hotel with a young pup easy and relaxing.”
13. Stacy S.
“Cassie had such a great day with her new bestie, Betsy. Stacy was awesome, she is great with communication and making Cassie feel right at home. She also worked on Cassie’s recall which is a huge plus for us! We will definitely be back!”
14. Christina R.
“Christina was very kind and fun to talk to. She updated with lots of pictures and our pup came home happy and tired!”
15. Kat D.
“Kat has dog sat for our pup multiple times over the last few years! She takes him in as one of her own and always continues with any training we might be working on. We know she has fostered many dogs, has volunteered at shelters, and is very comfortable with all breeds. When we need to go somewhere for a longer stay, Kat is always willing to help out and give us some peace of mind.”
