About: I have been taking care of dogs big and small since I was 10 years old, as well as pet fish, hamsters, guinea pigs. I’ve always offered to help family friends neighbors take care of there’s as well wether it’s walking, bringing them on rides, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love to them while there owners are gone. I’ve also worked at a couple farms before so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals and a very big heart for every single one of them. I am working locally this summer a few days a week but have a flexible schedule so I can make sure any routine for your pup is kept! I have a big vehicle so if they are ok in the car I can bring them to the lake, for a walk on one of the local trails, or just for a ride on a nice day. I love spoiling my own pup so yours are gonna be spoiled just as much! Most dogs I’ve been around have been put in crates weather they were being trained as a puppy or can’t be left out in the house alone so I know how to handle that if needed at any time. I make sure there water bowls are ALWAYS full and when to feed them. I clean up there messes if needed and try to keep things tidy even if they just take everything out again. I give them lots of pets and attention and learn there attitudes and personality as well as I can so I know them better and they can trust me.

“Meghan was a great dog sitter for my two pups! She maintained communication throughout, was always punctual, and showed great flexibility. Most importantly, she was incredibly kind and caring toward my dogs. I recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter!”

“Mae was timely, pleasant, accommodating and incredibly loving with our pets! We are so happy that we found her and will definitely be using her in the near future!”

“Kym was great! I enjoyed getting to know her before we left. She came twice to visit and meet with YellowCat. He's generally shy around strangers but warmed up to her during her stay in our home. She took care of him and the house. Clean, Responsive, Responsible...I felt very comfortable having her stay and grateful to find her for YellowCat!”

“Ashley was great with Gus and Chloe, she was very communicative throughout the week and was flexible on a time adjust. I even heard from our neighbor she was very attentive to Gus and did a lot of outdoor playing. Would request Ashley again when needed.”

“Kyla is a great sitter! I feel confident she takes care of the animals and house as her own. I would recommend her to anyone and I would definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I've had animals my whole life. I have house sat my friends and family's pets for years while they go on vacation. In my spare time I work with the animals at the Animal Refuge League both dogs and cats. They have provided different types of training for both cat and canine care. I work from home so I am able to house sit and still continue working. This allows me to be with youe pets as often as possible during your time away. I do not care for pets in my home since I have a cat and a dog myself. (They get watched by my roommate while I'm away)

About: Hi, I’m Makaylah! I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with a wide range of pets—including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, mice, and chickens. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent years volunteering at shelters and helping friends and family with their pets. I work from home full-time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can give your pet plenty of time, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I’m especially passionate with working with shy or nervous dogs and always take things at their pace. Patience & No pressure. I use positive reinforcement to build trust and keep things low-stress. If you're okay with it, I’d love to include a little fun, low-key trick training during my visits. I've helped dogs learn sit, down, shake, speak, spin, and touch (nose to hand), always with treats and praise. It’s a great way to keep them mentally engaged and build confidence, especially for anxious pups. I’m also experienced in administering oral medications and caring for senior or special-needs pets. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you always know how they’re doing. Let me know what your pet needs. I’m happy to help however I can! Im wfh and have pets of my own so I'm always home! My schedule is overall very flexible, and I can shift things around to make things work especially for repeats. Go on vacation or give yourself a weekend away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your care instructions closely and keep routines consistent to help your pet feel secure. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard where they can play and explore safely. No matter the place, I will focus on maintaining a calm, secure environment.

“We are so happy with the care, attention and communication we got from Elizabeth! She was comfortable handling our 3, sometimes rowdy, pups and sent frequent pics and updates. We will definitely request her again! Top notch!!”

“Blondie was a great sitter and Ruby had a wonderful time with her and Congo ? we will definitely use her again!”

About: My dog is 17 years old and he only eats meat that we cook like hamburger and steak as well as he needs to go on walks more often. My dog is blind and deaf so he barks to communicate. He is about to turn 18 in 2 months. I am good with both puppies and older dogs For now I do not have a full time job so I am looking to fill my time and make money by walking and taking care of dogs I have worked for multiple family friends as dog sitters and walkers. I love all the types of dogs and always make sure that I give as much care to them as if they were my dog.

“Christina was amazing and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She came down before the job to meet us and the pets. We immediately felt comfortable with her and our dogs both loved her. She communicated with us while we were away and was even kind enough to send pet updates and pictures. Our home was well respected and exactly as we had left it. I’d highly recommend Christina as a house and pet sitter”

About: I grew up taking care of our cats & dogs & gerbils. My mom raised labs. For the last few years I have cared for our little zoo. Two cats, a dog, a bunny and chickens. Do you have a nosy beagle that needs walked? Chickens that need to be closed up for the night? I know the struggle and I want to help! I currently maintain our small homestead and animals and I am always looking for new furry or feathered friends. I would love to help with lunch and afternoon walks or potty breaks. I am happy to watch your animals in your home, I will need to come home for a little bit in the mornings/evenings to care for our animals. I will make best friends with any animal that has to spend some time away from its family. Doesn't matter if it is an afternoon walk or weekend away I can guarantee your furry friend and I will have happy adventures or snuggling depending on their mood. Maybe even both! We will go on walks, hikes and the occasional swim depending on the weather. Perhaps we will play a little tug of war and make some pumpkin treats for all our friends.

“Danielle did a great job with my puppy. She arrived when she was supposed to, did all the extra puppy bathroom breaks/cleanups, kept her out of things, and provided me updates through the night. Thanks!!”

About: I grew up on a farm with lots of animals, so I'm no stranger to cats and dogs, chickens, goats or horses. I have hands on experience with special needs and old aged felines. I have been raising my own chaweenie for the last 10 years. I'm a self employed Independent Contractor, so I love to build things for my animals. I'm a high energy person with lots of care and affection to give. I'm a self employed PT Independent Contractor, in charge of my own schedule, so I can accept clients pre-planned or last minute. Having freedom to work part time grants me lots of pet play time. I have roughly a quarter acer, properly maintained fenced back yard. Fence is 5 feet tall chain link with privacy slats, to block out unwanted antagonists. I live in a 3 bedroom, modern house with a full basement. Animals are welcome to be free range within the home, and have their own full size couch to lounge on in the livingroom. Along with extra large dog beds and various sized kennels for the more private pets. Also, there is a 50ft long enclosed sunroom, for their enjoyment.

“Iris and Andrew had the best time with Mia! We got lots of pictures to keep us updated and was just so good to our fur babies! She’s someone we quickly trusted with our babies and in our home! We can’t wait to use her again!”
